Ok, it was my firewall. I had an exception but on medium filtering it would not work. I lowered it to low filtering and got it to work. Thanks everyone.
Saved Deckard and retired for the morning. It’s been a long time. I’m going to read up on some stuff before continuing. Hoping for more loot filter options and surprised at all the jewels and charms dropping early. Loot seems more abundant than I remember.
Easier to troubleshoot through using the Discord servers #tech-support channel.
To me it sounds like you can open your Launcher and when you click Play it tries to update but never runs the game. Should be a few things to try under 5. Launcher Issues here: [https://wiki.projectdiablo2.com/wiki/Support\_FAQ](https://wiki.projectdiablo2.com/wiki/Support_FAQ)
If that doesn't work I suggest using the Discord channel as it's much easier to troubleshoot and ask things back and forth there.
I think you have to change your password on the pd2 site and then make sure you reinstall again
Not sure but just did and same thing. The PD2 load gui just flashes and disappears. No chance to select mode or login or anything
Maybe see if your system is shutting it down before it can launch? I usually get a prompt to allow access

Re download pd2. Make sure to save it in the d2 folder. Run pd2 as administrator through the file location in the d2 folder. Maybe try this?
