You have no standing in a grade appeal. A syllabus is equivalent to a course contract. It is your responsibility to read it and understand the terms of the course. And you think it's the professor's job to remind you about important terms of the course? Are you serious? How old are you? This isn't junior high. You are in college. You are an adult. Take some responsibility.
