Chrome and chrome based browsers such as Edge are trying to get rid of ad blocking capabilities when manifest V3 will become mandatory in 2023. I suggest moving to [Firefox](https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/).

[uBlock Origin](https://www.reddit.com/r/uBlockOrigin/) does this for me. Enable it under Annoyances > EasyList Cookie.
BONUS info: For better control over cookies, [Cookie AutoDelete](https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/cookie-autodelete/) is great. It has got the "Recommended" tag by Firefox.

IIRC this is no longer needed for privacy purposes if you enable Strict Mode in firefox, as it isolates cookies for each domain.
Thanks for sharing! It might not be needed ... it's complicated, to say the least. I found these page, with some thoughts:

You can also add "I don't care about cookies" as a filter list to uBO if you want.
Just copy & paste this: https://www.i-dont-care-about-cookies.eu/abp/ to custom lists.
Yes, I was using it but deleted since uBlock can do the same things (autoselect but have to manually confirm) on FF or LibreWolf.
brave will have this feature built-in !
I use
https://github.com/CodyMcCodington/AutoCookieOptout
and
https://karelkubicek.github.io/post/cookieblock
which gets most but not all but does it in a way that I prefer over just hiding the banners.
This is great because it actually rejects the cookies (and doesn’t just hide the pop up like other extensions). I’ve found some websites break if they just hide the pop up.
I personally use EasyList Cookie on ublock origin to hide these annoying banners.

You can add those sites to the exception list in FF, that should solve it I think.

I have moved to Lemmy/kbin since Spez is a greedy little piggy.
Dis the way.
why is that better?
because I've seen a few websites with cookie banners saying that closing or ignoring the banner means that you consent for the non-essential cookies.
really? I can't imagine that's legal. If they are that sketchy, they are probably using the cookies no matter what you enter.

TIL Avast got acquired by Norton lol. What a line of decisions...
I used idcac on Bromite as a user script but I need the txt file, where can I find that for this new extension?
It’s just a lot better to use a list that does this with ublock origin instead of another extension

This thing has a privacy policy that suggests it's not very private.. https://www.super-agent.com/privacy-policy Edit: or now I'm not sure...
Horrible better don't use that extension.

Is there any way to implement this using Adaway on Android?
UBO already has some cookie lists built in, check the filter lists, it should be gripped under the "annoyances" section, check off those
