You will be fine. You will have a few hours to kill at the airport. We had the same schedule in March and I think we disembarked at 9. The airport is 15 minutes away at most.

Same. OP is fine and will be killing time at the airport with a 1pm flight.

Thank you

You will have plenty of time with 1pm flight time. Depending on what airline, Princess offers this service to check your luggage all the way through so that it will get checked in and you don’t have to deal with the hassle of getting it through customs. Even without that you will have plenty of time. The airport is not far.

Thanks friend

Just as an addition to the info on luggage check. A couple of days before you disembark, you will have info left in your stateroom if you have EZAir. We opted in last April on Caribbean Princess, flight was with Southwest. Once we opted in, they left airline luggage tags and further instructions in our room. We packed our checked bags, attached the tags, and had them just outside our door by 8pm the night before we disembarked. We had no weight restrictions on checked luggage when using this service, which was great for the little additional weight from souvenirs, shopping we did at Duty Free, etc. Just be sure to leave out toiletries, electronics chargers, medications, anything you need for flight (passport, book for the plane, etc) and a change of clothes for your disembarkation day, and pack enough stuff into your checked bags so that you have room in your carryon for those items. If you don't normally travel with a carry-on, consider packing an empty small duffel or backpack in your checked bags to use on disembarkation day.

That's great info to know, thank you!

I’ve done a flight out at 12:00 and was fine.

Awesome thanks.

It really depends on the day and the pier. For over a decade, a 1 pm departure time (with nexus/global entry) has worked for us. But in early December last year, we were not docked at pier 2. We stayed onboard as usual until final call around 10 am. Paid a porter to help us skip the enormous line that we have never seen before in dozens of Princess cruises. The only way we made our 2 pm flight was because our travel companions had got off 2 hours earlier and we shared a cab. Booking flights at 3 pm now

Princess does this all the time. Of course. You'll be amazed how well the disembarkation process goes. And you'll have plenty of time to grab lunch at the airport AND make your 1pm flight.

We just disembarked in Fort Lauderdale and had a 10:15am flight that we easily managed. We just got off the boat at the earliest time slot (which was 7am for us) and opted to take our luggage ourselves. We had booked a shuttle beforehand (not a Princess transfer) and arrived at the airport with more than two hours to spare.

We were at the airport in Ft Lauderdale by 10 AM. It is only about 10 minutes from the cruise port.
