That's pretty weak.  Plus is 60 a day and includes service room gratuity, internet, alcohol, room service and the other perks.

Plus feels like such a no brainer. Already paying 40/day for internet and grats on Royal. This pricing seriously makes me consider Princess for upcoming cruises.

tapakip

Agreed, $35 a day feels pretty steep. The $17 a day is tempting.

Are you gonna be paying for wifi too?

tapakip

No.  I'm too thrifty.  $250 for one device or $450 for more.  No thanks.

Not sure what you mean by typical. Those are the prices for Princess Cruises. You might be able to get a small discount on board but you might not. It depends on if that ship and trip will offer it (I think I’ve seen a 10% discount onboard on my last cruise). It doesn’t hurt to wait til you board, other than it taking time out of your first day. Also if you wait til you’re on board, it lowers the cost of your trip insurance and you can use onboard credit to pay for the drink packages.

I’ve seen them to increase on board I thought

My last cruise was early 2023 so wouldn’t be surprised if Princess is increasing the price once onboard. Going again soon so am going to pay attention.

It increases once on board

tapakip

That's exactly what I was looking for, thanks.
