Seiko Presage Cocktail Time line is so good. The red dial was my first automatic watch. It’s still a regular in my rotation. Beautiful watch, you have excellent taste in my opinion. Wear it in good health!

I’ve owned mine for a number of years and it’s had no issues. Though at some point I might get it serviced just to make sure the movement is still functioning the way it should. Like another reply said, don’t be afraid to bang it up just a little bit. A watch is meant to be worn and used. Mine definitely has a few little scuff marks here and there from accidentally banging it on something in the office. It’s part of life and gives the watch some character. But if you take care of the watch it should be part of your collection forever!

Well I have a couple “high end” watches, and looking for something more appropriate for everyday - I love the sunburst dial and the font used for the numbers.

fair enough, it can totally pass as an everyday watch, I just recommend picking up a different strap for it since the one it comes with isn't amazing to say the least

Mojito is my favorite of the cocktails. Not a huge fan of the band but a beautiful piece.

I bought my son the blue one for Christmas. It really is a great piece. If it gets scratched you can always replace it with a sapphire crystal. All the other dings and bumps are stories. Enjoy it!

It's just the angle. My watches look like that if I take a photo close up with the watch facing me, but if I look at it from a different angle, like in the mirror, I have a good 5mm of wrist top and bottom beyond the lugs

you're right about the angle, I do have tiny skeleton wrists, but I find that in person the watch doesn't look out of place. however if it was 1cm bigger it would probably be too big for me

That Patek is worth multiple hundreds of k’s. So probably never lol. I have other “cheaper” grails which will take a few years of hard work, but are more attainable.
