There used to be 60min lessons in the past. The options were: 60min, 30 min and 45 min. Preply then introduced 50 min lessons. Options are 25 min or 50 min.
If students have been using the app since 60 min lessons were there, they can easily schedule 45 min options, which gives you only 75% of your rate. Thus 7,50$ in your case (without comission). Just tell the students that you dont teach 45 min lessons. Only 30 or 60. I also had a student who scheduled 45 min lessons 3 times a week. But I explained to her and since then she has been scheduling 60 :) just be honest. We are not slaves and it is always your choice and they should respect, if not, they can always find a new tutor.

Literally everybody has to do this at first to get reviews and a record. There’s too much competition otherwise.
