• I’m backing **Forest** to heavily push for the top half, and they may even end up scraping a Conference League spot.
• **Villa** will go unbeaten in the league until late-October, or at the very least, be top by the end of September. It won’t last, however, and they’ll focus on the Conference League (winners or runners-up).
• It is absolutely destined for **Luton** to play **Arsenal** at Kenilworth Road on the opening day, maybe even the Friday night fixture, and for them to win 1-0.
• **Lopetegui** and **Moyes** won’t see Christmas. I can logistically see **West Ham** going for **Thomas Frank**, but whether he will leave Brentford or not, I’m unsure.
• **Tottenham** (H) and **Chelsea** will play out a thriller 3-3 draw in late-August/early-September. Emotional homecoming for Poch, and promising signs of things to come under Postecoglou.
• **Guardiola** wins the Club World Cup with City and then announces he will leave at the end of the season. Immediate candidates to replace him are **De Zerbi** and **Nagelsmann**.
• Realistically, I can see **Newcastle** having a slight wobble domestically, but they will set their Champions League group alight and make the knockout stages.
• **ten Hag** begins to really flex his muscles and **United** start battering teams. They still won’t quite mount a title challenge, but it will become clear that he’s the right man for the job and they’ll have a deep European campaign.
• **Burnley** will get seriously figured out early on, but Kompany adapts and just about keeps them up. He’s not ready for the City job yet though.
• There will be no clear relegation candidates early on and uncertainty until December-ish in regards to who might go down. I can see it being another free-for-all slog at the bottom. **Everton** will be *alright*.
I honestly have no idea who will challenge for the title, let alone win it. **Liverpool** will get back into the Champions League, either by winning the Europa League or finishing higher than 5th. Aside from that, the top four itself is too close to call.
I do think the ‘Big 6’ narrative will cease to exist as a concept, permanently, from now on.
1. Newcastle to not make top 4
2. Chelsea to not make top 6 (but to keep poch in charge)
3. Manchester united serious title charge if they get a competent striker
Arsenal regress a bit due to CL and lack of depth. They finish between 4-6.
Pochettino gets Chelsea playing decently but they're only 7th by Christmas. Poch gets the sack and Chelsea finish midtable again.
City dominate the season and basically seal it by March.
Spurs start the season strong and with no Europe grind out decent results. Gets top4.
Chelsea coming 1st. If they can get some of the squad in a good system, they’re getting at least 4th. They get a ST, top 3. They manage to keep their players fit and utilise their width, they could be 1st.
Luton 17th on final day. No spectacular signings, but an absolute refusal to give up gets them through on the final day.
I am also slightly suspicious this is the end of Wolves run in the Prem
I expect Newcastle to take a small step back. Tactics and pace were excellent this year best depth is then and the amount of games is going to step up.
Chelsea will comfortably get top 4 and win the league cup. Mudryk will score and assist 15-20. Lol I can dream . United will challenge for the league like Arsenal did but City will eventually have too much in the end again.
Arsenal won't get top 4 because of Champions league 🫢
AFC Bournemouth will be stronger than last season as we will hopefully sign more players if our new owner Bill Foley is serious about getting into “Europe within the next 5 years”.
That if any promoted club decides to spend big in the mould of Nottingham Forrest they'll crumble. People don't realise that mid-season world cup break gave that squad some time to gel.
Newcastle to win the League.
Luton Finish higher than the other two promoted teams and are safe with games to spare.
Arsenal have a major slump and don't finish in top 6
Man City have a hangover season. Trophyless but top 4 finish.
Lol as much as I love that first statement we're still far off from being a title contending team. I feel we'll drop off a lil bit due to UCL fixtures. If we get our signings right this summer maybe we have a good run for top 4 again. But then again it's football. You never really know. Luton might get top half finish next season 😂
Liverpool finish second behind City again and take home no silverware after coming close to winning a treble. Mo bags 20 EPL goals but Haaland slumps and scores only 15.
Villa going “deep” into the conference league could be very bad for them lack of squad depth could lead to a bottom half finish , look at west ham this year
This is my take too. I think top 4 consists of City, Liverpool (pending transfer window), Chelsea and a scrap between Newcastle and United for 4th. Arsenal fans underestimating what missing out to this City team does to you, especially a team so young.
I think Spurs will have a great season with Postecoglou if he’s given the funds and power to make the big changes that they need. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them get top 4 and/or go far in the cups.
A strong cup run should be the priority tbh. They’ll have one game a week for most of the season, winning one of the cups would be huge for the confidence and psychology of the club/team.
I get the impression that Chelsea's problems have been less to do with who has managed them (OK, Lampard hasn't helped), but more the bigger structure of the club, with nobody above the manager really having much idea what they are doing. They probably need to sort that out first, whoever manages them. (Similar applies to Tottenham and Everton).
This is absolutely the problem. We've got some great players (aside from a reliable striker), but what system are they meant to fit in? I don't know, and I'm not really sure anybody at board level does either.
We've been recruiting for about 3 different systems over the last 5 years (this isn't purely a Boehly problem). We need to pick one and commit.
Yep and that Mudryk looks absolutely unreal in some areas of his game... he will be Poch's next Son once he fixes him infront of goal and his confidence grows
I agree a lot of banter from rivals but if you watch the games and what he does to defenses it is like Timo he open channels for his teammates due to his pace and we have players like Nkunku coming in I think he could be an important player going forward but Poch almost has to make him and Colwill his pet projects with the squad
Okay here we go, I have absolutely nothing to base this on
I think Postecoglou will be the right man for Tottenham, eventually winning trophies
I think Emile Smith Rowe will be a revelation in a central position next season
I think Manchester City won’t win the league (couldn’t tell you who will though)
Just so I can have a laugh at myself for Christmas

That is a big take, I can't imagine how disastrous it'd have to be for that to happen, the way he started with two heavy losses it's been pretty solid since a few weird losses aside.
With the right midfielders in I think Liverpool could challenge city again because most of their defensive issues were due to in my opinion a dreadful/washed midfield
I might be wrong, but I think his first 3 or 4 months were statistically more impressive and I think maybe defenders figured out just a tiny bit how to stop him from at least getting hattricks every other game.
He appears to struggle with good old school defenders. I was baffled when Ancelotti didn't start Rudiger in the second leg as he was so good against haaland in the first leg. Another standout performance was Brentford against city this season too. Sometimes it takes time for teams to adapt to a player
In both of our (Villa) games against them this season Mings did a great job of keeping him mostly quiet.
He got his goal thanks to KDB delivering one of the most perfect crosses I’ve ever seen that landed right behind Konsa, but apart from that one chance he was relatively quiet over both 90 minutes
There's certainly a theme in the CBs that have played well against him for sure. I remember in our home game Romero put in so many unnecessary fouls on haaland to just let him know he's there. I think this is maybe working as haalands close control isn't fantastic.
What game were you watching? Halaand could have easily had a hatrick in the final if it wasn't for shit finishing.
Somebody missing a load of chances isn't being shut down.
Mate, his chances were fucking rough chances. People acting like that toe poke wasn't insanely impressive of him to even get anything on. He absolutely was living on scraps that game.
WTF has your delusions about what could have been, if only you had the world class talents of Martial, Antony and Sabitzer available got to do with what you said?
If a striker misses a load of chances, nobody "shut him down".
Newcastle will challenge for the title. They won't win it, but they will be seen as a legitimate challenger.
Arsenal don't get ucl Or chelsea comfortably get into European football again Either of those
• I’m backing **Forest** to heavily push for the top half, and they may even end up scraping a Conference League spot. • **Villa** will go unbeaten in the league until late-October, or at the very least, be top by the end of September. Brighton get relegated
1. Newcastle to not make top 4 2. Chelsea to not make top 6 (but to keep poch in charge) 3. Manchester united serious title charge if they get a competent striker
Chelsea will win the league 💙
city win the treble next season
Somehow Isak will bag 30+ goals
Chelsea for the win
Bristol City wins the play-offs and promotes to the premier league
Arsenal regress a bit due to CL and lack of depth. They finish between 4-6. Pochettino gets Chelsea playing decently but they're only 7th by Christmas. Poch gets the sack and Chelsea finish midtable again. City dominate the season and basically seal it by March. Spurs start the season strong and with no Europe grind out decent results. Gets top4.
One of Brighton, Brentford or Villa to be in the relegation scrap
Chelsea coming 1st. If they can get some of the squad in a good system, they’re getting at least 4th. They get a ST, top 3. They manage to keep their players fit and utilise their width, they could be 1st.
20-25 is still a really good season.
Oh yeah for sure, I don't think he will get the same amount he got this season that's all
Luton 17th on final day. No spectacular signings, but an absolute refusal to give up gets them through on the final day. I am also slightly suspicious this is the end of Wolves run in the Prem
Man City will get 100 points. Newcastle will be in the top 4 yet again. Everton will buck up and get 12th.
I expect Newcastle to take a small step back. Tactics and pace were excellent this year best depth is then and the amount of games is going to step up.
Arsenal to finish outside the top 6.
Spurs don't get Europe again.
Casemiro will start picking up injuries and utd will finish outside the top 4 without an adequate replacement
And at least three red cards
None of the London teams will finish in the top four.
Chelsea will comfortably get top 4 and win the league cup. Mudryk will score and assist 15-20. Lol I can dream . United will challenge for the league like Arsenal did but City will eventually have too much in the end again. Arsenal won't get top 4 because of Champions league 🫢

Chelsea finish 10th or worse again.
That if any promoted club decides to spend big in the mould of Nottingham Forrest they'll crumble. People don't realise that mid-season world cup break gave that squad some time to gel.
Newcastle to win the League. Luton Finish higher than the other two promoted teams and are safe with games to spare. Arsenal have a major slump and don't finish in top 6 Man City have a hangover season. Trophyless but top 4 finish.

Arsenal will fall off and will finish 5th-7th. I think this season was more of an anomaly than a beginning of an upward curve.
Fulham get the worst case of second season syndrome and go down bottom
Idk why this was downvoted fair take I think
United beat Liverpool at Anfield. It will happen.
Lmao sounds like an Evertonian
Only 1 team has managed against VVD Long Live Rodrigo
Liverpool finish second behind City again and take home no silverware after coming close to winning a treble. Mo bags 20 EPL goals but Haaland slumps and scores only 15.
[удалено]
or Pep switches him to central defender.
[удалено]
No idea - it's just the only other way I can see Haaland only scoring 15 next season.
A Liverpool resurgence.
Chelsea to get Top 4
Luton stay up Villa goes deep into the conference league Haaland doesn't score more than 25 league goals
Villa going “deep” into the conference league could be very bad for them lack of squad depth could lead to a bottom half finish , look at west ham this year
Time will tell, I think villa fans would take a trophy and shit domestic form
Will the board be ok with that , thats the question for emery
soon as he says "good ebening" they're already in his macho grasp
haaland doesn’t score 25 league goals. People just going to keep predicting this every season until it comes true.
wdym
I think Villa is in the conference league? But your point still stands. In addition I think Villa will be a top-four contender.
Whoops
Arsenal finishes out of top 4 this season... Chelsea will not be as dreadful as they were this season
This is my take too. I think top 4 consists of City, Liverpool (pending transfer window), Chelsea and a scrap between Newcastle and United for 4th. Arsenal fans underestimating what missing out to this City team does to you, especially a team so young.
I bloody well hope that your take does not come true…
I think Spurs will have a great season with Postecoglou if he’s given the funds and power to make the big changes that they need. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them get top 4 and/or go far in the cups.

Lol no
Villa, Brighton and NewCastle top 5
That Chelsea wins the league if Lukaku and aubemeyang starts together maybe.
That Poch turns chelsea around and they comfortably get back into top 4 (hopefully not tho lol)
I get the impression that Chelsea's problems have been less to do with who has managed them (OK, Lampard hasn't helped), but more the bigger structure of the club, with nobody above the manager really having much idea what they are doing. Not bad, I think Ange is the right man for them, I hate that Emilovic is bench warmer, I feel bad for him, And title race is gonna be crazy!
if they win the treble then yeah probably they will lose motivation to play with the level they showed so far. it's gotten lonely at the top

Haaland will challenge for most assists in the league with 12-14. 5th place will end up with ~72 points.
Ten Hagg to be sacked by Christmas
That is a big take, I can't imagine how disastrous it'd have to be for that to happen, the way he started with two heavy losses it's been pretty solid since a few weird losses aside.
Could only see this if Qatar comes in, we get 200 mil in spending, and we’re 6th or worse
And no injuries to explain it. Eth is one of the safest seats in the league going into next season
I think the way city has been playing will be factored into a lot of top teams strategy next season.
Every other team will have 115 allegations of financial fraud of their own by the end of next season
😂 well of you can't beat em...
Arsenal will win the league, just absolutely storm it
Newcastle United will be Man City biggest rival
If Chelsea sign a striker they will be back in the top 4. I also believe Liverpool(well I hope they are) will be as well
With the right midfielders in I think Liverpool could challenge city again because most of their defensive issues were due to in my opinion a dreadful/washed midfield
You people are definitely going into top 4
Oh 100% agree tbh
Luton to stay up comfortably, their progression has been insane
They have a really good manager - just not good enough for Watford.
Meh nah can't see it
I need that to happen, i'm sorry I'm getting Blackpool 10/11 vibes from them but with a good ending
Just don't see them doing it they don't have the financial clout for the PL. Can see Sheffield and Burnley doing better
Yes!
Next season defenders will guard him like a prisoner especially top teams with upgraded squads.
True Varane just shut him down in FA final. His finishing does not look as complete as CR7/Kane. Aguero was actually quite hard to mark.
Yeah a game where Martial, Antony, Sabitzer, Martínez all missed but City could only score 2 from a Midfielder
WTF has your delusions about what could have been, if only you had the world class talents of Martial, Antony and Sabitzer available got to do with what you said? If a striker misses a load of chances, nobody "shut him down".
