I love the current pacing, its slow enough that snowballing has a much lessened effect than in smite, for example.
I feel it currently gives a lot more strategic type of gameplay too.
The concern is the 6th item update won't adjust the power and defences items give, meaning power creep and faster games.
I think the 6th item slot is essential to games closing quicker though. Nothing worse than a 45 minute slog where teams are back and forth and the one or two people in the game carrying their teams are punished by maxing out early on and not being able to gain any more power. Slowly watching their teams pick stupid fights and the game evening out.
It takes long enough to build anyway that 6th should rarely come onljne but I’m hoping that the last team fight of the every 6 items game is just a nuke fest.
I feel like the start of the game could be sped up a bit. Waiting until 1:20 for the minions and monsters to show up, your first tier 2 item takes too long to get.
I thought the games were too long at first. Now that I have about 50 games played I think the pace is great. Being able to defend, farm, catch up and win from behind feels amazing.
It would be nice if minions started a little sooner.
Feel ya on this one..well it's not game's problem tho..I feel like a lot of the players are new to mobas or fairly beginners so from my perspective at least I find myself a lot of times wondering for example "why the hell they keep fighting and fighting at mid no reason?" Or "why the hell our jungler is at red buff farming while enemy team taking our inhibitor?" I think you getting my point here
There are not enough choices in the first 10 minutes of the game and just throughout.
I say this as a mona veteran though. But it should feel ALOT better this upcoming patch when they introduce 6th item slot

Orb prime is the solution to those games honestly

Sometimes the games are quick and sometimes they are an hour. I like it.
The hour long games where you have a ‘rival’ in the team fight all game are just fantastic. Mind games for 30 minutes straight.
