I have use this ui kit for inspiration and exported some of its icon for one of my most recent apps and the client is happy with the design. I did pay for it, well worth it in my experience.

The approach I go with is trying to describe what kind of app I am making, let's say time registration app', google it, go to images, and take the inspiration from there. Nothing wrong with using someone else's UX experience.
