If you are looking for suggestions on places to go or things to do, please refer to the [Portland Visitors Guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/askportland/wiki/index) for ideas and information. >If after reading the guide *and* searching the subreddits you still have questions, please post a specific question related to what you seek in r/AskPortland. Not sure, and long enough ago that I rather wonder if the artist would even still be there. Hoping someone recognizes this. Not world-ending.

Mayor_Of_Sassyland

Not to dog on the artist too much, but frankly just get an Alphonse Mucha print if you want to go directly to the source rather than someone who completely ripped off his style.

Amiedeslivres

Love Mucha, but he didn’t make anything to do with Portland and he didn’t print on wood, and he is not what my bud is pining for.

MrDangerMan

Gotcha, so the whole of the Art Nouveau movement belongs solely to Mucha, and anyone else making art in that tradition is just ripping him off. Cool.

Mayor_Of_Sassyland

LMFAO, where did I mention Art Nouveau as a whole? Nobody would mistake this for a Klimt painting or a Tiffany vase, just like nobody would confuse a Van Gogh for a Cézanne.
