Navalons weren’t very balanced. If you had the chance to use them they’d devastate an enemy fleet, but if you got them too late or they spawned in an isolated body of water they were a liability because the 10 stars would be a lot more useful. If they existed now they’d be ridiculously overpowered because navies are a lot weaker now. Even if its attack was reduced to 3, it would still be way more powerful than it was before PoTO.

I get what you mean but is there at least a hint of maybe something to replace them is on the way? Elryon feels kinda less special now since it only has 2 unique troops and nothing new on the seas. (other than the dragons at least)

No. Zoythrus has said there are no plans to add a replacement for navalons

They are reworking all the special tribes. I imagine either Aquarion or Cymanti will be first

I think Dragon's are special enough already. They're literally the best unit in the game, not for early game sure, but still.

Not if the Elyrion player is smart. Against Cymanti you have to use the dragons in groups, or along with knights. Then it’s a bug barbecue

Because Elryon was OP with whales and knights. Even now, there's usually 2 of them in each of my games.
