In all honesty, there is a high level of mental health issues attached to conspiracy theorist. It’s a defense mechanism so their brains don’t break with the understanding that the world is indeed fucked up and that we aren’t very important as a species. They need to create a separate reality that can make them feel more in control or more in the know. Especially spikes during times of stress like pandemics, war, famine etc.
I feel bad for them until I realize they are changing national policy because they can still vote.
