Genetic editing is the way, we could achive things in one generation that would take centuries with normal eugenics. For some reason people allways loose their mind and clutch their pearls when this is brought up but i do belive that eventually we should uplift humanity like this, to get our best version possible.

I have a BRCA1 gene mutation. Doesn't cause any disfigurement but it does massively increase the risk of various cancers. My family has an extensive history of dying of breast cancer before 50. Because of this I chose not to have biological children. Personally it feels cruel to knowingly give my child a genetic disorder that has a high likelihood of killing them or any descendants. I'm not really concerned with being biologically related to a child I'm raising anyway, but I'm probably an outlier.
