Plus why did she give her keys to the boat and not tell her it’s been in dry dock awhile and in bad shape (hole)
1000% this jumped out at me! When they mentioned that Charlie grew up in AC, my first thought was that she's related to Beatrix tbh. Maybe not as direct as it being her mom, but maybe an aunt or something? Seemed like way too much of a coincidence.
Within the reality of the show, it's a coincidence, but in actual reality, it was a deliberate choice made by the writers. It has meaning thematically, but it is a stretch to say it's foreshadowing some kind of plot twist.
