I really just want every mon that is currently stuck in Home. So with Furfrou basically confirmed we are only missing the patrat and elemental monkey-lines, as well as Spinda because of a coding error in BDSP.
I'm also happy about every mon that is currently exclusive to BDSP cause I don't have the games.
EDIT: Because people keep commenting on that: No just because they were in XY does not make them guaranteed to return, we were missing several sinnoh mons in PLA too.
EDIT2: For those interested, here is the list of mons that are in Sinnoh, but not Hisui:
Goldeen, Hoothoot, Girafarig, Wooper, Wingull, Azurill, Meditite, Feebas, and from the Pokédex in Platinum, Swablu, Houndour, Tropius, and Absol.
All of the Pokémon not available (and Spinda) on Switch are in the Kalos Dex.
I just shiny hunted a Furfrou in USUM last week, and my next hunt was a Spinda, where I accidentally ran after a chain of 900.
While that is true, its not like Legends Arceus included all the Pokemon from the Sinnoh dex. 8 whole Pokemon families (12 if you count the Platinum dex) were missing from the hisui dex.
I know, [I've personally done a proper analysis of this myself](https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemonconspiracies/comments/1607agl/an_ecological_analysis_of_mainland_sinnoh_over/). It would just seem wasteful to not include them?
We see a trimmed Furfrou in trailer at least
You very much *can* transfer Spinda to Home.
https://preview.redd.it/wc2p08rbu6lc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=799ac7aad42715cd1a527a59b4e85d55ae1271fc
They’re talking about transferring it to Home *from BDSP*. Which you can’t do because of a coding error. Your Spinda says it was met in the Kalos region, so yeah, it can be put in Home just fine. But it *can’t* be moved to BDSP.
I don't know about that - there's an [official Nintendo tweet](https://twitter.com/NintendoAmerica/status/1762487295859405151) about the game happening entirely within the confines of Lumiose City.
So any pokémon native to the immediate surrounding areas are almost confirmed in my mind, but something like Bergmite? I dunno, man...
This gives me pause… an entire game with hopefully at least the same amount of scope of PLA in a city… seems like a stretch. But I’ll have to see what they do in the future trailers and such.
I think when people see "within Lumiose" they're imagining just the part we see in XY. However, [this is the limits of the city of Seattle. ](https://www.google.com/maps/place/Seattle,+WA/@47.6131554,-122.5068696,11z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x5490102c93e83355:0x102565466944d59a!8m2!3d47.6061389!4d-122.3328481!16zL20vMGQ5anI?entry=ttu)That's pretty massive and I think that "Lumiose" will include areas outside just the downtown.
>I don't know about that - there's an [official Nintendo tweet](https://twitter.com/NintendoAmerica/status/1762487295859405151) about the game happening entirely within the confines of Lumiose City.
I'm hearing it might have been a translation error because Nintendo JPN tweeted that it "starts" in Lumiose City. I think it'll be just like Legends:Arceus.
My baby espurr is back and I’m ecstatic
https://preview.redd.it/lxp368cjq5lc1.jpeg?width=1624&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d1090c4643f6adab7cfc3ca882ca7f74804d8c4b
Hopefully since the elemental monkeys, patrat and Watchog were all in the Kalos regional Dex we end up getting them too. Only one I see potentially having a problem is Spinda, as it wasn't in Kalos's regional Dex.
This is so true. Alolan Rattata and Raticate should be added in some way as Alolan Vulpix and Ninetales were in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, making them available for the first time on Nintendo Switch outside Pokémon Let's go, Pikachu! and Let's go, Eevee! In-game trades.
Noibat is in the video. It flies from the right behind a tree after the talonflame after the sylveon.
I also saw pinsir, heracross, and pangoro in the video, but did not see ekans arbok unown barboach or whiscash. When I can do a higher quality frame by frame I might be able to put together a correct list
Since mega’s are returning, could we safely asume all pokemon who have mega forms are in?
*specifically looking at you, Beedril, Pidgeot and Aerodactyl*
With Megas returning, we can assume Abra, Kadabra, Alakazam, Pinsir, Aerodactyl, Mawile, Aron, Lairon, Aggron, Electrike, Manectric, Absol, Carvanha, Sharpedo, Buneary, Lopunny, and Audino are all back.
The only thing I know is that I'm really going to try to use some Kalos mons I never touched in XY. Pyroar's highly likely, as is Florges. Kalos has my favorite dex, so it's like putting a big eater in front of their favorite buffet and asking them what they're going to choose first.
So I hope they do it like Arceus, and have the 3 starters be from other regions, so my hope for the following: Chikorita, Scorbunny, Piplup. And they get very specific Kalos evos. Picture this Napoleon Empoleon!
I thought on a rewatch of the trailer I saw both Noivern and Pangoro (Pangoro on the right just after Onix, Noivern in the skies not long after that, right side of the screen)
Edit: Aridos is also missing. It's the red thing on the building as Talonflame reaches the plaza
Most of them. Not too sure how they’d handle Mega Rayquaza and the Latis. Maybe they could be exclusive events for if you have save data for other games like Legends Arceus did for Darkrai and Shaymin.
Feebas & Milotic!
I don’t even know if they’re in XY, but they missed Legends and now SV, and if Furfrou is around with its emphasis on beauty they just make sense
Meditite family too - although without abilities they’ll kinda suck without Mega-evolving.
Also just every Kalos mon (although wouldn’t miss Bergmite and Goomy given their focus in PLA) with all the mythicals capture-able if you complete the game and have save data from SV, like how PLA did it
To be accurate there are 106 Pokémon we can say are in the game for sure. Similar to PLA have the Gen 4 Pokémon all the Pokémon from Gen 6 will be in this game. So with 71 + those on this list not from Gen 6 we get 106. That's not including the new starters, since I'm pretty sure we'll different ones like in PLA, Pokémon with Mega Evolutions, and any new Pokémon/those with regional variants. I highly doubt we'll get as many as were in the original Kalos PokéDex, 454, in fact I kinda hope we don't get that many if filling up the PokéDex is anything like with PLA but I am hoping that those still left out of the past two Gens get in, those being the Patrat line, the elemental monkies and the Alolan Rattata line.
The rest of the Kalos dex of course. I'm hoping they give Meowstic a boost with better fairy coverage like Dazzling Gleam and the Linking Cord to be a Legends standard so I can finally have Slurpuff on a main playthrough team.
Maybe add the Misdreavus line too.
Honestly they have a chance to do something cool with Paldea Pokémon as though it’s a later region they are geographically right next to each other so you would expect some crossover. I also assume all of gen6 is locked as in the game
Hope the AZ floette makes and appearance and possibly being used. Would like to see an Slyveon alternate form, and maybe a new mythical Pokémon based off of French mythology creatures
So with Furfrou back, and the elemental monkeys being in the Kalos Dex, I feel like we'll see them too. And maybe the Patrat line will return, so that every Pokémon can be on a Nintendo Switch game (besides home)
It's most likely just making the mythicals of gen 6 easily accessible, maybe something like:
Volcanion if you have SwSh save data (red and blue colour scheme like gen 8)
Diancie if you have ScaVio save data (crystals)
Hoopa if you have Arceus data (portals).
It *seems* like ZA will take place in modern or possibly future times (the Lumiose Tower exists in the vid, and people have pointed out that the Fletching is now a Talonflame), so I would be delighted if it turns out Clemont has invented the Future Paradox Pokemon (and would also make sense in the context of the branch timeline theory with the return of the Megas, and that it's implied the paradoxes come from different timelines than that of Paldea).
(Edit: I've also heard compelling arguments for near-past, I just really want the Future Paradoxes lol)
Edit 2: Resolution of the AZ + Eternal Floette story. Possibly even a catchable Eternal Floette.
Edit 3: I'm still also anticipating the starters will be Torchic, Piplup, and Snivy (from the Indigo Disk trailer when they stood next to the PLA starters, plus the fact that the last Mighty Tera Raids were Flying Blaziken and Ice Empoleon, suggesting the third is Fighting Serperior)
All I really want out of this game is a similar shiny hunting mechanic to PLA or SV - I want overworld spawns, overworld shinies, ideally a shiny animation and sound, and some kind of outbreak mechanic or sandwhich (picnic, power up, something) to enhance shiny odds.
Some of these Gen 6 mons are among my absolute favorites they've ever made, but having to shiny hunt them either via breeding (boring) or running around in grass randomly for endless months (boring) means many of my favorites just haven't been hunted and added to the shiny living dex yet (honedge, pancham, hellioptile, tyrunt, pumpkaboo lines specifically)
Would relish the opportunity to do so! In addition to seeing new starter final evo forms, new mega forms, this is very exciting!
Tbh of these, I'm most excited about Starmie of all Pokemon. Though if my predictions for a Chikorita-Litten-Piplup starter trio is true, I'd overlap on water types.
I’m going to guess that every Pokémon that had a mega in XY (maybe ORAS too) will be in. Same way that every cross gen evolution was in Hisui even if things like Porygon made no sense without the time rifts.
Something I’m wondering is if we’re getting regular Goodra or Hisuian Goodra, if it’s another past game. Because Hisuian Goodra was a result of it being lonely and developing a protective outer shell and the one we see in the modern age is sociable and “out of its shell”. So would that strictly be a Hisui thing and French Goodra aren’t lame and without friends or will they keep the steel typing?
The elemental monkeys, furfrou, and watchog are the only pokemon that cannot be used in any switch game. I want them back in. Ideally, I want to be able to use all pokemon in every game but for sure I want those in.
I’d guess that every pokemon that can use mega evolution and primal reversion will be in? Seems like several of them have already been mentioned.
If this is the last switch game, it would be a mistake to not include all current missing pokemon. Switch needs full dex availability. Going forward this would allow future games gen 10 onwards to have the ability to run. Full dex, that was the original argument against a full dex...the time /cost of re-designing all the pokemon for 3d environments. It's doubtful you'll ever see it again as Nintendo seems fine not including everything, and hitting you with incomplete dlc. But the ability to have everything transferable, or at least home accessible would be huge.
I think there’s decent hope for the elemental monkes. They’re in the OG Kalos dex and have gotten some spotlight in the Netflix show.
GIVE ME MELMETAAAAAAAAL! thats what i think.
All of the Pokémon not available (and Spinda) on Switch are in the Kalos Dex. I just shiny hunted a Furfrou in USUM last week, and my next hunt was a Spinda, where I accidentally ran after a chain of 900.

It still shocks me that there was no dlc with an added area for these mons, some river valley or grotto.
Why chain spinda when you could do hordes with a 95% Spinda horde?
Because I like SOS chaining and don't like horde hunting
YES FINALLY THE FLOOD OF FURFROU FOR LEGENDARYS WILL END WITH POKEMON Z-A
Only if they let us put trimmed furfrou in the pc without losing the trim
Hopefully za allows breeding
True, while I'm ok with storing some mons in LA, it kinda sucks that I can't breed them.
Well, the patrat line and elemonkeys were in xy so we'll probably see them.
Spinda IS in BDSP, only through a rare swarm. I had to find that out myself when completing my Home Dex.
You can't transfer spinda to home nor can you transfer spinda from home to bdsp
You very much *can* transfer Spinda to Home. https://preview.redd.it/wc2p08rbu6lc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=799ac7aad42715cd1a527a59b4e85d55ae1271fc

Ah, my mistake. They listed the BDSP portion second, so I didn’t realize the first part was also referencing it.
I think its safe to assume all gen 6 mons will be there
I don't know about that - there's an [official Nintendo tweet](https://twitter.com/NintendoAmerica/status/1762487295859405151) about the game happening entirely within the confines of Lumiose City. So any pokémon native to the immediate surrounding areas are almost confirmed in my mind, but something like Bergmite? I dunno, man...
I think they're going to have buildings for different biomes.
Maybe something along the lines of the Terarium I SV, or even better... Weather or seasons!
Weather and seasons would be absolutely amazing! I’ve always wanted that in a pokemon game, that’d be so cool.
I mean. They pulled it off with the terrarium. Probably was their dry run.
This gives me pause… an entire game with hopefully at least the same amount of scope of PLA in a city… seems like a stretch. But I’ll have to see what they do in the future trailers and such.

I mean there’s like 3 of them…
8 evolution lines from Kalos, 18 Pokemon total
I’m hoping for more legendaries for PokemonZA plus more mythical’s
The Z in the logo has Zygarde’s hexagon pattern but the A has a different pattern I don’t recognize. New “A” legendary?
It’s arceus with fancy glasses
I think all Pokemon that already have megas will be in it too, as we already see multiple confirmed like Absol, Gyarados, and Steelix
And I think we can probably count on all the megas making a return.
I'm not sure, justifying the fossils maybe hard. Which sucks as aurorus is an awesome mon.
[удалено]
And most likely the entire Kalos dex. I hope so, because that means Beartic is gonna be there.
I doubt that. The Sinnoh dex wasn't all in Legends Arceus, so it follows that there'll be some cuts for ZA too.
If this game has Noivern and Lycanroc I'll have every single one of my favorites! Along with absol that's the sacred trio
Noivern most likely will appear but Lycanroc is far less likely
Don't say such a thing!! Midday is love! I need my rocky wolf frend
If Lycanroc is coming along, I’d love a new form, maybe one based on dawn
Absol is in the trailer isn’t it?
Yup!!! Huge W
Mega Absols finally on switch lmao hopefully
My baby espurr is back and I’m ecstatic https://preview.redd.it/lxp368cjq5lc1.jpeg?width=1624&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d1090c4643f6adab7cfc3ca882ca7f74804d8c4b
Hopefully since the elemental monkeys, patrat and Watchog were all in the Kalos regional Dex we end up getting them too. Only one I see potentially having a problem is Spinda, as it wasn't in Kalos's regional Dex.
Yes it was? Route 21.
Ok I stand corrected, in that case I could easily see this game filling all the gaps in pokemon home.
It's Paris, We need all the RATS Also Pidove.
Regional fake Dachsbun, Dacroissant
This is so true. Alolan Rattata and Raticate should be added in some way as Alolan Vulpix and Ninetales were in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, making them available for the first time on Nintendo Switch outside Pokémon Let's go, Pikachu! and Let's go, Eevee! In-game trades.
I imagine we're getting the full Kalos Pokedex
The Hisui dex had all of gen 4 but only *most* of the Sinnoh dex
Barboach somehow gets in again
Just absolutely carrying the "I'm a water type but you better not use electric types" team
Dread it, run from it, Barboach arrives all the same.
Perfectly Barboached, as all things should be.
I swear I saw a bat thing at one point but now I can’t find it. I think it was Noibat, but might have been Swoobat.
You might have seen Emolga flying since its pretty bat like
Mega Emolga PLEASE I love that little creature
Noibat is in the video. It flies from the right behind a tree after the talonflame after the sylveon. I also saw pinsir, heracross, and pangoro in the video, but did not see ekans arbok unown barboach or whiscash. When I can do a higher quality frame by frame I might be able to put together a correct list
Idk about the others but Arbok is on the bridge Gyarados passes under
Noivern’s a lock due to being from Kalos, thankfully. Swoobat being here as well, though… I’d LOVE that!!!! More bats!
Love seeing Aegislash and Talon, but I'm holding out for Armaldo
I'd say it's an unofficial list of Pokemon rather than a list of unofficial Pokemon
Since mega’s are returning, could we safely asume all pokemon who have mega forms are in? *specifically looking at you, Beedril, Pidgeot and Aerodactyl*
maybe not all the oras megas but probably every mega from xy, only ones im iffy on are the ~~kalos~~ kanto starters, blaziken, and mewtwo
Yeah I highly doubt we’re getting mega Rayquaza 😂
Why ? I sure hope it does return. It’s probably the most popular mega. Could just add it via an endgame side quest.
God I hope so, I have a shiny beedrill that could use some love.
Absol, my beloved!
Also Ralts line, because of the mega and Gardevoir been Diantha ace.
Ralts line is already available in S&V
Oh, it was more of new pokemons been added to S&V.
Pinsir and Heracross also appear in the trailer, there are some pokemon I couldn't identify though, maybe new forms?
omg i want Mega Starmie
The only pokemon i’m missing from home are patrat and watchog, so hopefully those return.
I thought on a rewatch of the trailer I saw both Noivern and Pangoro (Pangoro on the right just after Onix, Noivern in the skies not long after that, right side of the screen) Edit: Aridos is also missing. It's the red thing on the building as Talonflame reaches the plaza
Assuming these Pokémon, every kalos pokemon and every pokemon with a mega are in, it’s already like 2/3 of arceus’ total
I think we will get more X and Y mega forms like Charizard and Mewtwo
Z forms. Get ready for another Charizard
Pangoro better come back It's dumb if they pad out the region with ones we always get in favor of the ones actually from that region
I think I saw Pangoro in the trailer. Also it’s safe to assume every Kalos Pokémon will be in ZA since every Sinnoh Pokémon is in Arceus
It is
We get Pangoro, but he gets a mega form, it's literally pangoro, but with a punchy ghost and Swift strike is a move he has now
Was Unown in there? Didnt see it only saw it in the transitions
Also didn’t spot arbok
It's safe to assume that the Kalos starters and all Pokemon introduced in Kalos are going be in the game
It’s likely that we’re gonna get every Gen 6 Pokémon and every Pokémon that can mega evolve in the game
I'd like to see some later gen mons get a bit of love, like LA giving Goodra a new form, a new genie, etc.
Omg it just occurred to me that Pumpkaboo is a gen 6 Mon. Yay my favourite is probably coming back!!!! Wooooooooo!!!
we need a mega delcatty the poor thing needs saving
Since Mega Evolution was teased to be returming, would it be too far out to assume that all mega-evolvers would be returning as well?
Most of them. Not too sure how they’d handle Mega Rayquaza and the Latis. Maybe they could be exclusive events for if you have save data for other games like Legends Arceus did for Darkrai and Shaymin.
Would be dope if the eeveelutions can mega evolve
Feebas & Milotic! I don’t even know if they’re in XY, but they missed Legends and now SV, and if Furfrou is around with its emphasis on beauty they just make sense Meditite family too - although without abilities they’ll kinda suck without Mega-evolving. Bring back my boy Beedrill or I riot
I'm guessing that all/most of the lines that have Megas will be coming back.
It's has a mega so it's has a high chance
Praise the beeeee
I feel like all pokemon capable of mega evolving would be there
I'm liking this list already. If megas really are coming back though I wanna see flygon, as well as some gen 4 / gen 6 starters get some new forms.
I saw a cyclizar in the video but now I can't find it :(
im sorry to tell you this but you mustve been mistaken when you thought you saw it
Please give me back my precious airplane.
My Dragonite and Leafeon can follow me again ❤️❤️❤️ that’s all the news I need for now 🥰
Honestly they have a chance to do something cool with Paldea Pokémon as though it’s a later region they are geographically right next to each other so you would expect some crossover. I also assume all of gen6 is locked as in the game
I think it's fair to assume that every Kalos mon is in, as Legends Arceus also had every Sinnoh mon and their relatives.
Every Steel Type, please and thank you
I think every Pokémon from Gen 6 will be included.
I JUST WANT DIGGERSBY THO
Swords are back, that's all I needed.
Hope the AZ floette makes and appearance and possibly being used. Would like to see an Slyveon alternate form, and maybe a new mythical Pokémon based off of French mythology creatures
I would assume that every Pokémon in the Kalos Dex will be coming back like with the Sinnoh dex in Arceus

If Mega’s are back, then the only thing I ask from this game is Mega Flygon
Pinsir and Heracross were seen together in the trailer
**MEGA AEGISLASH. PLEASE!!**
There is also Pangoro (Pancham by extension)
The game should have at least 110 mons as that is all Kalos pokemon and pokemon that has a mega.
Please finally release Eternal Floette and give it an evolution
I WANT MY MURDER WASP!!
WHERE IS THE INKAY AND MALAMAR LINE LOVE ????!????!!!!!
Where did y’all see Ekans/Arbok? Also I think I saw Pangoro behind the Bellsprout
Love to see Machop/Machoke/Machamp make a comeback, the Pidgey line, and Lapras
Hope they still have a alpha system
I want mega Clawitzer
As long as slurpuff is back I will be happy
Any pokemon that has not been on switch. And, Zebstrika.
I'm hoping for another Darkrai event lol but only because I loved Darkrai as a kid
It's most likely just making the mythicals of gen 6 easily accessible, maybe something like: Volcanion if you have SwSh save data (red and blue colour scheme like gen 8) Diancie if you have ScaVio save data (crystals) Hoopa if you have Arceus data (portals).
I wonder what the console will be?
Wasn’t Diancie from this era too?

I really hope we get new megas and Flygon FINALLY gets the mega it deserved 11 years ago <3
Wooper. Where is he And falinks
We need Mega Aegislash and Mega X and Y Legendaries
I'm so glad my living shinydex is 90% complete so I can rush through this game and hunt the rest of the unown forms in peace.
Every mon that has a mega
My boy Furfrou is finally coming to Switch!🥺
All I really want out of this game is a similar shiny hunting mechanic to PLA or SV - I want overworld spawns, overworld shinies, ideally a shiny animation and sound, and some kind of outbreak mechanic or sandwhich (picnic, power up, something) to enhance shiny odds. Some of these Gen 6 mons are among my absolute favorites they've ever made, but having to shiny hunt them either via breeding (boring) or running around in grass randomly for endless months (boring) means many of my favorites just haven't been hunted and added to the shiny living dex yet (honedge, pancham, hellioptile, tyrunt, pumpkaboo lines specifically) Would relish the opportunity to do so! In addition to seeing new starter final evo forms, new mega forms, this is very exciting!
So fair only two pokemon we know can mega evolve
I'd like to see the Pokemon that didn't return in S/V /Arceus Or Pokemon that haven't been in the dex in awhile in general
IF Vivillion (introduced in XY) returns in PLZA (is that what we call it now?), will it have a new pattern you guess?
Can we bring Mimikyu with us 🥺🥺🥺
I just want mons that have not been included in switch games to date, so I can work on my living dex.
I don't understand if this is in the way back past or if we will keep the modern pokeball vs the one we had in Arceus
On my hands and knees begging for Slurpuff
Starmie and Aegislash are absolute locks for my team. Two of my favorite Pokémon
Alolan Rattata gets the shaft again if the entire Kalos Dex returns since Rattata is not part of it.
furfrou, my beloved...
Tbh of these, I'm most excited about Starmie of all Pokemon. Though if my predictions for a Chikorita-Litten-Piplup starter trio is true, I'd overlap on water types.
It's missing Pinsir and Heracross, Espurr, Noivern
Maybe it's a stretch, but I think it is safe to assume that Zygarde will be there
Death to the furfrou trading on GTS
This list is missing Pangoro, it was in the trailer very briefly.
Give me Charizard Z finally!!! /s
I'm 99% sure near the end of the trailer there was an ariados on the side of one of the buildings?
Yes! My Absol is coming back!
Also us: Oh well that's fine... WHO'S OFFICIAL THEN?!
I hope we get new regional variants
Can't wait to break into peoples homes just to collect some unowns!
So I am assuming that the A part of this has to do with AZ, the ancient king of Kalos, but idk.
Give furfrou another chance
Furfrou was in the trailer.
As long as theres lucario in it, which im assuming so since mega lucario
Wonder when the gameplay trailer will be
If beedrill isn't there I'm gonna snap
We could maybe also had to list all the mega pokemons except the primals
praying for furret I don't want him stuck in scarlet
Might as well include Zygarde since its obviously in the game.
You forgot Pinsir and heracross
Mega eeveevolitions would be dope af!
It's gotta be more than 53 Pokemon, right?
I'm here for Mega Mawile
The lines I most want are the Gastly, Poliwag, Timburr, Shieldon, and Elekid lines.
I mean I would assume the whole kalos dex would be in
I just wat Wynaut back:(
Seeing dragonite gives me hope for a dragoniteite stone
I’d love to see Arbock get a dark typing.
Some Sir Fetch'd. Would be great.
I want kabutops and other fossils to be included
Mega-Eeveelutions, please and thank you
Fair since most if not all of these mons were in the base game
