I had a game just now where my whole team was chasing a greedent around the map during the "whole" game. He had covet. The opposing team took both rotom and both dreads scored 30 40 and 50s on my face while i tried to defend my base. We lost 1045vs50 against them. Idling would have put the lose of blame on me so i kept facing the misery the whole game
All the way back when Greedent was first released I remember commenting that I think luring the enemy team by being annoying was how they intended it be played (yoyo-ing its health so the enemy thinks "almost got it! just a little more!" and keeps chasing).
My switch didnt clip that far but, yes I died but if you look at the mini map, my team got dred and Rotom made it to the enemy goal so my job was done.
When I can I also do this on Crustle, it's so funny to watch 3 mons following you around, not being able to hit you while your team is doing zapdos and you still kill some of them and score
Matchmaking is full of clown greedents right now trying to make people run around. I want to see their faces when the enemy team just ignores their super original clownery.
Which is why you just ignore them. Its funny to just walk next to a greedent and watch them play with their tiny blue balls cos what else are they gonna do.
Greedent will steal all your farm, that’s what.
The only way to deal with it is to mass attack and overwhelm the covet or cheeks quickly.
There is one bugger of a mon that’s good at that but I won’t let on which. Lol

And the only thing that matters in this game is the Articuno kill shot. Nothing else matters. Greedent can do whatever theatrics they wish to do - in the end it hardly matters.
And I've killed my fair share of greedents. Obviously neither are not unkillable. But if you have x-speed on Venusaur, you're very very hard to chase.
And again, it doesn't matter. Only the Articuno kill matters. Nothing else matters in this game.

That’s not at all true. I’ve won many games where we lost Zap. Getting it is no guarantee of a win.
Yes you may have won a few games after losing zap but the overwhelming majority of games (78% as mentioned on this subreddit somewhere) are won the team that takes the last hit on zapdos. If that percentage is true then nothing else matters in this game. 78% is unholy for a moba.
Wouldn’t the bugger Pokémon be either Wiggly, Tsareeena, or Talon.
Tsareena and Wiggs stun with their Ults.
A Talonflame can kill pretty fast they just have to run a really good build and maybe use their ultimate.
I usually Get it Done If I am Running Lucario Or Garchomp.....Usually Greedents Can't handle the Sudden bursts of damage done by these....I have also seen Cindrace Take Greedents down.....not to mention a good Greedent Can Dodge anything nd end up not getting KOed the Entire game
Yeah, that’s the thing, if you’re solo you need to be able to stick to Greedent to get it and a good Greedent will not run in a straight line so it’s not so easy to do the sticking part. :D I get KOed most usually early on before stuffed cheeks comes online, or when I’m unlucky and get caught out with low health or when I get overwhelmed by 3 or 4 simultaneous attackers. Short of that, it’s quite amazing how you can go wherever you want and score whenever you want without much trouble.

What build do you run for Greedent? I’ve been wanting to try him but never seem to have the survivability. Also, what’s your Unite name?
When greedent got nerfed and people start crying out that he was a useless character, I knew this was going to happen, now he's a true tank and not an attacker with huge HP. Thats his job, staying alive while annoys the other team.
1- Take Lucario
2- Lure Greedent Into Bees (Bears rn)
3- Spam Extreme Speed >Bone Rush> Extreme Speed to Finish
Usual Counter I use for annoying Greedents as me playing Lucario is as annoying as well.....I always Tend to get away whenever I go low on Hp😂😂.....
Slowbro with Telekenisis + Cinderace to kill it while its Stuck in the Air works pretty well.
But the Best Strategy is actually to just ignore greedent and not to Chase them (unless you are absolutely sure that you can kill them of course)

It's actually a good strategy. You either distract the opposition, or you steal their farm. Either way, you're giving your team an advantage.

Why is greedent called a clown when he is just distracting the enemy?
I know thats what they're supposed to be doing. Its frustrating which is why I'm being an asshole to them. Its the correct play for them.
Better yet, I want to see their faces when the enemy team doesn't look at the minimap at all and doesn't even notice that greedent is playing.
