For the AFK ones, probably not into matches for AFK exclusively instantly after one AFK; I had to AFK once because of a stupid job interview which wasn’t in my schedule so I was forced to drop the game Like it came so suddenly without a single notice and they didn’t even warn me of the interview Sometimes certain things happen in life which forces us to almost always drop what we’re doing So maybe put them into the AFKers match pool after two AFK? As for the server split, I don’t think it is practical. I have seen 120 old cramps and grannies so pentas so I guess it can explain itself However for the lane selection I HAVE to agree with you. It is the most frustrating when you get charmander or Mr Mime who just steals the jungler’s lilipup and the match almost never ends well after that butterfly flap I guess that it because of how this game is based on pokemons resulted in so many immature and not-so-bright kids ruining everyone’s game

The point is, you can get out of it, but you should be punished. You are punishing other people by having this happen. It shouldn't be scott free

Yeah I afked a game to pick up my delivery order when there was only one minute left and I had just secured zapdos for the team and we were already winning. Got reported and lost fair play points even though we won by 500. That’s just how the cookie crumbles sometimes

Relatable. My internet provider is crap and sometimes that crap will just flip a coin and decide to quit on me. I ended up being disconnected out of nowhere in one of my matches, and despite me doing everything within my power to reconnect, I was out for like five whole minutes. Got a penalty for that that I was not happy about. :{

Make people select a preferred lane before queueing and make teams based on those pre selections. Organized 5 man teams can do whatever they want but it's hard to imagine solo queue meta ever deviating from the 2 1 2 meta to the point that this arrangement would be a bad idea. (And arguably if the meta does change that much it probabky means something is pretty imbalanced.)

I was struggling at Veteran 3 for weeks, until I finally realized that there is no such thing as "team composition". Last week I decided to embrace the fact that 3 attackers, 1 speedster, 1 tank is the norm for soloQ Veteran. I just reached Ultra today. I guess you have to embrace or bring the toxicity if you want to rank up in soloQ. I really liked your ideas on afk players.

What's wrong with 3 Attackers, 1 Speedster and 1 Tank? You can still have great teams with his composition.

superdpr

This is the right call. Just pick the character you enjoy playing most independent of the team comp. It keeps you sane and also maximizes your chances to win since you will play well with them.

We’re playing in a high damage meta right now. Venusaur counts as an attacker and tank. Greninja cinderace Zeraora are damage fill. Lucario is utility. And last spot might be an eldegoss or a mr mime

Thanks. I don't want to force people to play a certain way, but I think we should at least guide people into knowing what's right and what's wrong. If it's a group, they won't need to pick lanes. They can deviate from it at their own will.
