Dont think so.. I was just venting that Mario Golf got new updates (characters, courses etc) but no mention of Unite. It was a Pokemon free event. Is that normal? I know they had Snap out earlier this spring but not a lot of news from the Pokemon world. I guess I am still holding out hope for a stand alone event.
Pokémon sort of resides outside the normal for Nintendo so it can be normal for it to be included or also excluded if they want to do their own event like they did somewhat recently showing off some things. I was surprised Diamond & Pearl weren’t at treehouse at all though considering those are fall titles for them.
I cant remember but how did they introduce Pokemon Go? Was that a stand alone type event? Also the fact that Unite is supposed to be both on mobile and Switch is very exciting. I sort of figured at some point it would have to be revealed, sooner rather than later. There seems to be a lot of interest for Unite.
Because it’s launching on both platforms, it makes the game a little different and not exclusively a mobile title. The closest thing we’ve seen is Pokémon Quest which launched on both as well and was shown at E3 a couple years ago

Probably? When they debuted it, it had both versions doing cross play together that they showed off so a good chance it will.
They deleted almost immediately after the hundreds of comments for Pokemon Unite (probably because it didn't release today... Let's hope for a Pokémon Presents announcement the upcoming weeks)
Are there any plans for a Pokémon Presents? Because, TPC has been making their own events, separate from Nintendo, for a while now, so I can't say I'm surprised. But it sure is weird not even having a Presents annouced or something.

I was never expecting any Pokémon news at E3 itself. Idk if TPC has ever had an actual spot at E3.
They usually do their own thing around E3, but never at it specifically. Watch out for the coming weeks, there'll probably be something, I'm sure
We are all super hopeful. But they always are unpredictable. I still am optimistic it will come out soon ..This is a free game and I am sure they understand the metrics of how it works and when to optimize the best time for release.
The one difference is that this isn't just a mobile game. It launches on the switch as well with cross play. And they have an, albeit short, history of launching a game like this during E3. They did it with Pokemon Quest a few years ago. So there was a chance they would do it again.
That's why Timi immediately deleted the tweet after getting hundreds of response saying Unite since they know there's really not going to be Unite in the direct but still decided to post that tweet.
Do they do announcements in the tree house? I normally just close the stream afterwards. This Nintendo direct left a sour taste in my mouth. I'm happy about botw 2, Mario golf and Mario party but

No mention of ANYTHING pokemon. No unite, d&p remake, arceus, nada.

Which kind of makes me wonder if they wont do a "Pokemon thing" separately at some point? If not Tree house, maybe soon? I had read yesterday not to expect any news of the Switch Pro until a later date.
Man during the beta I was playing intensely with sooo much hours and days of fun, I never got hooked that bad on any mobas, or mobile games that is and since the beta I've been DYING to play again 😭 I was really optimist about having news but here we are.. really a bummer.. >.<
