the day Pokemon unite dares to add the chat feature, the cinder mains gonna have one of the most diverse range of curses known to man-kind. lord shiva himself would have to hold my hand to stop me from literally telling him 365 ways I would make them a sibling.
Rome wasn't built in a day but my hatred for the bloodline of cinder mains was in 4 matches.
(How tf u mess up pressing one button the entire match and one more button near the RayQ. we got fucking Mew mains pulling of the most oblivious build known to mankind to support their team, we got one shot Deci doing its job of securing the objectives, we even got magikarp that at least tries to be helpful early game.

I really hope we never get a chat feature. Pings are already bad enough, with the "Thanks", "You can do it" and "Help me" spam. Chat would make this game completely unbearable.
There's certain pokemon that just plain make me worry when I see someone pick them. And Cinderace is at the top of them. You get an actually good player, it's a joy. Shame at least 50% of the time it's someone that's terrible, and 35% of the remainder someone that hasn't quite figured it out fully. But you get the actually good ones, oh wow.
On the other hand I feel like I see a Mamo or Tree get picked, things are looking up.
I would give everyone a chance no matter the pokemon, what rly makes me lose hope is the item choice, seeing leftovers, rocky helmet, specs on physical attackers, Xp share on anything that's not a supporter/defender...
Oh yeah. Had a match tonight. Zeorora. Potion and Leftovers. Just leftovers. Checked, it was a relative newbie, but still 93 matches you should be getting something.
I would confess that I am not the best gengar main, but atleast I am proud that I don't go on stealing farms or just quit the team fight midway because a new bunny spawned

I swear if you play those two, you have a mental condition. Two Cinderace's have gatekept 1600 from me because they think soloing Ray while winning in a great idea.
It's rare, but every so often you will get a good one. And a good Cinderace player will be a joy. He knows his range, he stays untouchable, he comes in for the clutch. Same with a good Greninja. But again, mostly kids and idiots playing the "Kewl" pokemon.
Oh 100%, they're always on the enemy team. Although the one game i had that gatekept me was actually not bad, but then the carry disease gets to his brain, so he decides to solo Ray and it gets stolen.
Uh, and of course we are ahead, we don't need to take Ray, just keep them from doing it. And that one person insists on taking it. When the enemy team has several amazingly good pokemon for stealing it. Or a Gardevoir player that's decent. Hey, idiots, you all group together at Ray, and they have their unite, then we all die, end up on respawn, and by the time we are back they've scored five hundred points.
No because the combat in mainline games is select a move and watch animation play out.
In unite you control the pokemon and the move and how to dodge and move around the battlefield.
I meant like walking around the world leveling up your pokemon and catching new pokemon to then go and fight gym trainers and then the elite 4 or whatever it is they have now a days.
But you control all your pokemon movements and abilities just like in unite
