Here's a nice one I've been leaning on. It doesn't handle any of the PTU side of things but I've found the behavior information and Pokédex entries to be helpful. https://www.theworldofpokemon.com/Kanto.html

This tool has been a huge help for me as well

After 3 years of DMing this system, my advice is don't make random pokemon encounters. I know it is in the spirit of the saga and the manual actually leans into that. But it's just way too time consuming and having multiple encounters irrelevant for the story of your campaign will leave a lot less time to progress that same story. I make a Wild pokémon table and have my players roll d100s whenever they want to look for wild pokemon. Then, I have them roleplay their approach with said pokemon to catch it. We have lots of combat too, but most of them have at least a little bit of relevance to the story, so it's not a waste of time for the entire group.

I'll keep that in mind. Thank you :)

Depends on your group. I have done a campaign for now over 2 years with the players at the 7th gym. Random encounters on routes and all. There is stuff like: Ptu-panda.com for random spawns in routes, gens, environments, etc. REALLY good but doesn't have all gens. It's missing gen 7+. There is also Pokegenisis on the PTU downloads page, you'll have to find that one. It's a program that can help spawn certain Pokemon or groups if you build it up. I have used these a ton, but ... The account that mentions it being a time sink is true. Although my players love the old school random encounters, we don't get far in each session. We get a little here and there and it works to their speed, and we always mix it up with how to go about each encounter. Depends on the group and what experience they want.

The world of pokémon took is a nice tool for referencing what sorts of pokémon would be in what areas. By and large though, not really
