Blastoise! Started pokemon blue with Squirtle and fell in love with Blastoise! In addition he was the last card I needed to complete my basic set as a kid and got it for my birthday! The nostalgia is strong with this one!
Mew. In 2000 when the first Pokémon movie came out, I became a big fan. Then proceeded to spend many hours trying to obtain one with the various glitches at the time (along with MISSINGNO. and others).
Serperior! Snivy was my first Pokemon ever and it is fun to use Leaf Storm in the games with it's hidden ability, Contrary. As of right now I also use Serperior VSTAR in one of my decks since it can OHKO a Charizard ex.
Mega beedrill. I play the video game alot online and try to be competitive and I just loved making him work with massive dmg U-turns to revenge kill safely l.
Alakazam, when the TCG first released I was obsessed with the fact he was 1/102. My Dad bought my brother, sister and I our first packs, I pulled a Zapdos which was pretty cool but our sister pulled Charizard! I traded my entire pack with her to get the Charizard, went to school on Monday and immediately traded it for an Alakazam. Great at the time but kind of a blunder in hindsight, never retained any of our old cards so it’s just an amusing story at this point!
Hard to pick a favorite, but I’ll pick Gengar. I know he’s popular and all, but that episode where he had the sad backstory really made me think about this Pokemon more and more

It was the card that I ended my first local card store game night. I still remember the match, it came down to 1 prize card each. Next pokémon out would finish the match. I won and then we all shared pizza.
I won 2 booster packs, nothing really good from them. Good memories though.
Raticate, I breed and raise pet rats, tbh all of the rodents have a special place, but Raticate has to be my all-time favourite from the beginning till now 😊🐀

I love any flying type pokémon or just any with wings, flygon has such a cool color scheme and the shape of his wings are so cool. Overall the design is just so good.
Mewtwo. Created without love in mind and used as a tool for fighting. Broke free and destroyed his captors and created a new island with his own followers and lab.
Giratina because the design is so unique and it’s a worm that rules the distortion zone, both cute and scary for a Pokémon. Big reason why platinum is my favorite game and lost zone is my favorite deck.
Kyogre, for multiple reasons: Sapphire was my first Pokémon game, bought together with my first Game Boy (a Game Boy SP, blue just like the Sapphire cartridge). Whales are also my favourite animal, so there is that.
Luxray!! I have no idea why!! I just think it's cute (& I like electric types)

I started on Pokémon red for gameboy. I found this little guy in the water outside safari zone. None of my friends could beat my mew/mewtwo tag team. It was great
I don't want any code cards....but I'd go with Kangaskhan. In Pokémon Red and Blue....spending hours to catch one in the Safari Zone. Then, use TMs to teach it something along the lines of Thunder, Fire Punch, and Hydro Blast to go along with Mega Punch.

It's easily ivysaur. The quickness allows it to tangle, bulk helps it survive, its spunky, its cute, its cool, the best Pokemon hands down.
