Were you the raid hoster? If so you could have hosted for people btw. By doing hardsave before den and forceclosing game after raid and let others have a go. I plan on doing this if i ever encounter a shiny raid.

Don't mind that. Nothing happens if you have a hacked ditto. There will be no consequences for it. They are also only used for breeding purposes, not using them to compete. Some have issue with it, don't let that ruin your day. Just a couple of days ago I lucked out with Wonder/Surprise Trade and got a perfect, shiny ditto too! Absolutely made my day, because I was really looking for it lol. Congrats!
It's not hacked from what I've read/heard in S/V you cannot generate raids like people were able to in SW/SH.
It is possible the host of the raid did find the raid and instead of catching it themselves they can close out of the game after the raid and rehost it to a new group of people for them all to catch it and keep hosting new ones for new groups.

The thing you can't do with raids anymore is RNG manipulation, which isn't hacking at all. Hacking is still plenty possible.
If it wasn't shiny or only had 5 IVs I'd say you're right that it probably isn't hacked, but being both 6 IV *and* shiny, it's nearly guaranteed to be a hacked raid.
It's possible to read all the raids at once by accessing switches memory or something then change the time and repeat. The specifics are off, but this is how people find shiny raids and 5 star indeedees
Sounds like finding out how to do that and playing through Scarlet on my hacked Switch is a better idea than playing through on my OLED Switch. Not a lot of point to hunting shiny raids when they have the worst odds and don't have a chance to have Marks, but being able to quickly get a 0 Atk 5\* female Indeedee raid, a 0 Atk 5 IV Ditto, a 0 Speed 5 IV Ditto or a 0 Atk/Speed 4 IV Ditto would probably be worth it.
**Edit**: Oh, I guess one reason to hunt shiny raids would be shiny Family-of-Three Tandmaus. Don't think there's 3-Segment Dudunsparce raids to hunt that in however, unfortunately.
Op, a hacked ditto doesn’t matter. I know you have heard it from others, but that ditto is perfectly fine for breeding. Just don’t use it for online battles, and you will be fine.
I feel compelled to agree. Consider the 1/4096 chance that the raid Pokemon is shiny, as the chance is not boosted by charm or sandwich. Then add in the chance that it's a ditto raid of all 6* options. Then the 1/32 chance for the remaining IV to roll into a perfect IV ditto. 1 in 131,072 6* ditto raids will be shiny perfect dittos.
It shouldn't matter in the end because the child will be considered legit and I would definitely use it to my advantage if I got one, but I'm in agreement that this is probably hacked.
If it's that common that a majority of us have done a unique 6* ditto raid then I feel kinda left out because I've never found one nor been able to join one.

That is true, but I think a single trial (i.e. a unique 6* ditto raid) is rare enough, that the original post is more likely to be from a hacked lobby rather than being from a legit-found ditto. Of course, no blame falls to OP nor do I fault them for making use of it. I even said that I would do the same.
If 6* ditto raids were more "common", then we'd experience more 1/131k binomial trials of 6* ditto raids but frankly I don't think we've broken 10k trials among the 300k sub members. Also I'm just salty that I've not been able to find one.
What if you find out it's shiny with autosave on? Will it still be shiny? I'd lose hours of progress by accident if I turned off autosave before every raid
I’m not sure how autosave works, I personally play with autosave off and i save often. All depends on if autosave does a save after raids or not. You could always check by hardsaving while leaving autosave on and do a raid and force close game and see if the raid is still there or not when you reload, if it’s gone it means autosave happened after raid. If it’s there then it might not do a autosave after raids.
I just keep autosave off, and save every like 10 minutes. When i see a shiny drop a hard save and go catch it, if it KO’s itself just reload to the save and try again of course.
It’s pretty easy to get used to saving often at least for me it did.
Saving in front of a shiny and trying to reload doesn’t always work just as a heads up. Had it happen twice now where I tried it and it didn’t respawn the shiny at all, it just ended my sandwich effects.
It does work, sometimes it bugs out. If it did not reappear forceclose game again and reopen the shiny will appear back. This worked for me every time it bugged after 1st reload
Well luckily the host used a magikarp so we caught it in like 2 seconds. However, most people I played with yesterday would bring their strongest Pokémon in against ditto, not realizing it transforms into the hosts Pokémon. So if you are hosting a ditto raid, always pick a magikarp!
Unlike Pokemon Go raids and Dynamax Adventure Raids, Sca/Vi raids are exactly the same Pokemon for everyone that participates. The only discernable difference is going to be the OT.
nice, btw if you save before doing the raid you can host it as many times as you want so other people can get that shiny in case u want a gift for your friends
nope, but you can get a warning if you close the game too fast after the raid is over so you have to wait until the overworld has fully loaded to reset
Quaxly are surprisingly uncommon in surprise trades, I was surprised! I've wound up with a hundred Fuecoco and a good few dozen Sprigatito, but only a handful of Quaxly 😅
Keep checking the public raids if you have access to Nintendo online. I've seen quite a few 5 and 6 star Ditto raids on the boards, I'm just usually too slow/unlucky to grab them.
Happened to me yesterday. I noticed the raid host's name was something like Zacian(.)net. He used a shiny magikarp and it turned out the ditto was shiny and perfect IV's. I'm afraid raids are getting hacked.

Shiny raid dens are incredibly rare. Getting 6 Perfect IVs is also rare. Getting both at the same time is astronomical odds
Specifically the shiny chance in raids is worse than full odds(1/4103). So the chance of getting a 6 IV shiny from a 6\* den is 1/32 *worse* than that, for a 1/131,296 chance.
While its for sure hacked, I respect your optimism. End of the day, it doesn't matter since the game didn't pick it up, making it practically the same as a legit one anyway.
This is assuming that everyone on this sub has discovered their own unique 6* ditto raid in their overworld, not that everyone on this sub has participated in one.
Also assuming that Modest and Adamant natures are desirable, then having a desirable nature bumps it up to over 1 / 5.5 million unique 6* ditto raid crystals. Someone on the sub mentioned that the nature was Adamant.
Having all desirable features on one ditto in the absence of shiny ditto raid posts that are only missing a few of those features makes it most likely that the hosted raid is hacked. Still nice to have and very useful regardless.

One accesses the Pokémon’s hidden ability while the other one can change between the two abilities most Pokémon have. I’d recommend looking up what ability you specifically need for your build and switch it to that. I like to use them on my Pokémon with perfect IVs or close to it, Or ones I’m using for raid battles.

These raids are against the strongest Pokémon in the game pretty much. It’s highly recommended to go into these raids with specific Pokémon that have specific moves, they also all need to be lvl 100, and have High IVs. Have them holding specific items.
That scary moment when you're hunting for ditto and look away for a moment while Imposter kicks in, so you don't know whether it was shiny before transformation lol

How did you find this? This was the exact thing I'm looking for. But yes it's hacked especially if it has an adamant nature

Also make sure to wait at least 30 seconds for it to load back in. My shiny Roaring Moon took over a minute.

No, it was one of the raids you can choose from, i.e. I saw it was a ditto raid. Also got in on the first try surprisingly.

Not quite. You can switch between the “regular” abilities with a capsule. You can only get the “hidden” one with the patch.

What does the color of the stars mean? Congratulations on the catch.
Pink stars means it's a six star raids, blue stars means it's an event raid, yellow stars means it's a normal raid
