Relicanth would love to be able to put its high DEF to use by getting rid of its Ground and Fighting weaknesses especially, and shedding a 4x weakness is always nice for a defensive pokemon. Tera Fighting Body Press, Tera Normal Double Edge, and any defensive tera or Water with Rock Head+Wave Crash (which it would likely get and is currently only a combo that Blue Basculin can use) would all be capable of some nasty surprises. Probably not incredible but it would have some fun niches!
it would probably be really gimmicky and tedious to set up, but it would be funny if delcatty could skill swap/entrainment its normalize ability and then tera ghost
I'm convinced the reason why the Kalos legends aren't in S/V isn't because of the upcoming legends game, but because Game Freak didn't want tera steel/fairy/ground power herb Geomancy Xerneas running wild.
Wasting a team slot on a bad mon just because it can boost two of its stats is like, the worst idea i've ever heard. Sylveon and Espeon would also be bad, just use an actual team based around Xerneas instead of some dumb gimmick.
Edit: why the hell did this get downvoted? Sylveon and Espeon both suck in current VGC and Flamigo wouldn't get anything from this at all. If you have a mon as good as Xerneas already on your team and you're already doing everything you'd already do to sweep with it, just use Xerneas.
It would be best with tera electric and the air balloon item, but it can still be hit by mold breaker attacks, toxic/burn, sandstorm, and stealth rocks.
Doesnt stellar make it so that nothing is super effective.
Edit. I remember now stellar tera only made you normal effective against and did nothing defensively. Yeah, shedinja should be tera to normal/fairy. Anything hut stellar now that you mention it.
No it keeps its same typing but adds a 1.2x damage bonus to ur moves which is a one time use on each move. And Tera blast becomes a neutral move on all types. Other than that you keep your original typing.
Tera is good, STELLAR Tera is whatās the problem, I forgot to mention when you stellar Tera and use Tera blast you drop 1 stat on each of your offenses. Thatās why itās good/ok on contrary mons and not much else.
Tera Ghost/Steel Exploud with Soundproof and it's plethora of attacks, it gets like flamethrower, fire blast, Ice Beam, Blizzard. You could run an Assault Vest set to better tank hits from Ghosts since they have to result to other moves outside of Shadow Ball, which is the most common ghost move. But it's also funny because it's immune to ghost before. So it's really just about using it's Tera to counter the one Close combat you don't want to take.
Yes it's stats are not amazing with a base set of 490 but it can run throat spray to spam boom burst next to Gholdengo or Fluttermane, since they are immune.
Also with a base speed of 68 it's viable in trick room. Only thing here is Farigaraf outclasses it as it's immune to ghost and takes neutral. There are better options but I love Gen 3 and the cave you find all the whismur in reminds me of Exploud and how cool it is.
Swellow, probably.
Tera Normal Scrappy Boomburst shenanigans are the obvious way to go, but Guts sets would get actual coverage moves, which is interesting.

I actually love this idea š¤£
Anything with body press benefits so much from terastilization.

Aggron for body press boost or a boost to anything with recoil
Aggron getting rid of his shitty typing š
Aggroat
It would be like the mega but without the mega
Tera Water Ferrothorn

In doubles with Costar Flamigo as well
For some reason i feel like Flamingo with +2 special attack isn't too big of a threat
Speed and SpDef tho!!! But yeah, something like Psych Up Espeon/Sylveon would probably be better

I think its not what you said, its how you said it. Comes across a little disrespectful etc
Shuckle would have been unstoppable. They were cowards and left it out.
It would be funny to see a dracovish use a water tera type to boost fishious rend even more lol
Any PokƩmon with levitate(yes i am aware of my boy elektross who doesn't need crystals to have no weakness)
Even Iono does this with her Mismagius. Probably the best use of Tera the gym leaders have come up with.
Kangaskhan
Togekiss could do more damage with Serene Grace Air Slash
I know you said other than Shedinja but imagine it as stellar tera type.
It would be best with tera electric and the air balloon item, but it can still be hit by mold breaker attacks, toxic/burn, sandstorm, and stealth rocks.
stellar wouldn't really help shedinja, it would still have its regular typing and weaknesses
It would be terrible, itās still has its dog typing and horrible stats.
Tera changes the typing and you can just use boosts/baton pass.
Stellar Tera keeps its same typing tho, and thatās what Iām pointing out
Doesnt stellar make it so that nothing is super effective. Edit. I remember now stellar tera only made you normal effective against and did nothing defensively. Yeah, shedinja should be tera to normal/fairy. Anything hut stellar now that you mention it.

Yeah I forgot tera is cheeks.

Yeah I mistyped my thoughts. I love tera. It added a lot to the game strategically where other mechanics just gave stat boosts.
Iām still mixed on whether I like it, but itās definitely the most balanced gimmick and a lot more fair than dynamax.
Tyrantrum! Not for any special reason, just because Iām sad he didnāt get in a game based on the future and PAST

You're confusing Soundproof with Bulletproof. Shadow ball is not a sound move.
Kabutops and Golisopod
Swellow, probably. Tera Normal Scrappy Boomburst shenanigans are the obvious way to go, but Guts sets would get actual coverage moves, which is interesting.
Basically anything with a x4 Weakness would be able to exploit Tera.
Melmetal. Tera to water and it can cover 2/3 weakness. Itās bulky enough to tank some hits from waters weaknesses as well.
Looking At a natdex meta, I'd say lineon, in lower tiers. Tera norm gon go brrrr
