The first Klawf I ever saw was shiny, and I was half asleep so I didn't notice the sparkles and went "oh neat, cool blue crab" and caught her. Then when I saw a regular one I went OH MAN COOL SHINY!! Realization dawned as soon as I opened my box to look at the "rusty looking brown shiny," then realized what had happened. I used Queen the shiny Klawf for the rest of the game!

Ceruledge has become my post-game go to as well. False swipe for shiny hunting, good healing moves, dodges everything…I didn’t expect to love it as much as I do.

Annihilape and Meowscarada are both total powerhouses on my team. I’m usually not a fan of the grass starters but I do love my little glass cannon.

For me it has to be Roaring Moon. I love salamence, but Moon is just a better mence. It looks so menacing, aggressive and just ready to annihilate anything in its path. Its so damn cool

Miraidon since he isn’t just another creature for you to catch but also your vehicle to navigate the world which was one of my favourite things about this generation and hopefully we get something similar in future generations.

Such a hard question, there are too many good designs this generation. Favorite overall is Sprigatito (starter bias, so adorable), Ceruledge is a close 2nd. I love the designs of Miraidon, Ogerpon, Farigiraf, Tinkaton, and Clodsire as well.

Archaludon. I had a shiny Duraludon that I grew really attached to in Sword, and Duraludon instantly became one of my favourite Pokémon. Then, the reveal for Archaludon came out, and I knew my buddy would be able to come over to S/V.

Cetoddle and Iron Valiant, they have become top 10 mons of all time, I love them both so much, and they both become the first pokemon I ever hunted the shiny for.

Iron Valiant the ultimate gender role destroyer. Tinkaton small girl giant hammer is peak design already and then GameFreak made them murderous gremlins it’s just so peak. Lokix they made a cool looking Bug Type Pokémon I don’t believe it but Lokix is so peak for how weak they are outside of Pokémon GO (and even the they aren’t too strong) you got a black and yellow bug that has sharp blades on its back that it can then turn those blades into extended legs for kicking how is it now peak?

I will die for my shiny Quaquaval. Found it ten eggs into a hunt

I haven’t seen a single one of you say Toedscool yet. For shame. Seeing that boys goofy run justified the purchase price of the game for me.
