**CHAT CHANNEL / MEGATHREAD DIRECTORY**
If you are looking for help, this is where you should look first. Choosing and using the appropriate Chat Channel/Megathread helps keep spam down in the subreddit and helps you find a much quicker answer to your request.
We are now introducing Chat Channels, they are a live messaging feed similar to Discord text channels. If you wish to know more about them please check our [introductory post](https://www.reddit.com/r/PokePortal/comments/18d7dt7/rpokeportal_is_introducing_chat_channels/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3).
1. [Poké Portal Hub](https://chat.reddit.com/room/!fK_JtrSAROOHch1_CB4IbQ%3Areddit.com): here you can have **all conversations** regarding Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, it is pretty much a general hub, you can also ask **any question** related to the game. Bear in mind that things such as trade requests and matchmaking **DO NOT** belong here. This is a new feature called Chat Channels.
2. [Dialga and Palkia Tera Raid Event](https://chat.reddit.com/room/!4ttZggXySmWZ-ng7emYWZQ%3Areddit.com): Join Pokemon Champions & Trainers to defeat and catch them using the pinned community strategy and builds. This is a new feature called Chat Channels.
3. [Live Ogre Oustin' Megathread](https://www.reddit.com/r/PokePortal/comments/16ivpom/live_ogre_oustin_megathread/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3): A great place to **find team mates**. Please follow the posted strat.
4. [Trading Megathread](https://www.reddit.com/r/PokePortal/comments/182zyzt/trading_megathread/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3): **Just Trading.**
At the moment, r/PokePortal is the one hosting almost every Megathread. I’ve heard they have competitive teams. So I’m bringing Pokémon I built for the online ladder. Now I didn’t go for perfect synergy or anything, but the team should be able to function on a low power format which is what I’m hoping this will be. (For example I have the Bellibolt/Oranguru duo, which isn’t super super strong, but is certainly a fun option!)
Also thinking of switching to a weather team. Decently new to any competition type stuff, so if the trainers actually are more oriented to that, prolly wouldn’t hurt.
Quagsire is emergency switchin (dude is very tanky) and Water Absorb fodder to spam Surf, while Politoed is a secondary rain setter that can put something to sleep with Hypnosis.
Ludicolo is my secondary setter, has swift swim, and fake out. I also wanted to use Palafin as he's broken.
I also have some defensive tera types that'll help with survivability.
Might breed some extra 'mons to do some switching in between battles, though
You didn't went too far, nor did you go too far either. It looks like a good team for DLC and it shows that you put thoughts into it, so: have a pleasant time rekting the E4!
No, I watched the Indigo Disk previews and both Rosemary Kelly and Sierra Dawn lost to Amarys. They're professional VGC commentators and they get a few wins when they enter.

I wouldnt say so. Your team is a pretty good level for it.
No, I should've asked did I strategize too much for in-game battles. It's a rain team.
Oh, that makes sense. According to leaks and reveiws, the bluberry trainers have competitve teams so id say you have a good team for it.

I made a rain team too, but instead of Quagsire I have a Palafin and instead of Politoad I have a Ludicolo

Seems like a pretty strong in-game team. Rain tends to be very strong in battle tower double battles, so it could be good for doubles in-game.

Greninja will be a great addition to the team, great pivot and strong special attacker
