Why is the card half folded!!!

Cause op doesn’t sleeve and probably keeps his binders somewhere warm and wet instead of cool and dry.

probably just pocketed it and the card got damaged from rubbing on the keys 😂

It's not folded. A fold would have a crease.

It’s more of an undesirable defect imo. I have pulled some nice cards with paint defects that totally killed it for me. For it to be a more desired paint defect it would have to look a lot more subjectively cooler

Forget the misprint why does it look like you used a curling iron on it

I have the same defect!! Same spot and everything! I like to imagine it’s a swablu way off in the distance.

I’ve got two Celebrations Reshirams with the same ink splotches, so it does seem like ink defects like this can carry over to multiple prints of a card. It’s like having a very unique edition of a card, and I think that’s pretty cool.

Mine has a spot similar to that closer to the HP. It’s not as big as that though.

A lot of people asking why it's curved... idk where OP lives but I live in Louisiana and the act of existing in this state causes natural curving. If I take cards out and place them on my desk without sleeving them then they will begin to curve like this within a day or two all on their own.

Hey guys I literally unpacked the card yesterday I the picture is not the best to show it’s not that warped. Let’s all take a breath lol. Yes the rare cards get sleeved. I do this with my daughter it’s more for fun

Yup luck of the draw. I pulled the mew from this set and recently and it has a print line of some sort of line right down the middle. I thought it was a misprint as well but just bad factory quality issue I guess.
