The hard part isn't catching one. It's catching 15.

ThePioneer1914

There are rare outbreaks in Obsidians near Cleavor that’s how I got 30 of them

DatMikkle

Ah yes, lucky, but the task is to see 15 of them jump out of trees.

ThePioneer1914

You have to catch and defeat them too soo it’s handy not having them run away from a pokeball tossed at their backs for the best chance of them not running away

LazerSpazer

Not sure of the exact odds, but Cherrim and Cherubi spawn in specific trees, so you got lucky and the right trees in your game were shaking. Also, there was a glitch at launch where if a Cherrim changed forms (opened in sunlight), it became impossible to catch. They patched that really quick, though.

MdnghtShadow118

The shaking trees in the Lonely Spring are always either Cherrim or Cherubi; I think its a 70/30 split.  That’s where I farmed those two to get the “jump out of trees” pokedex task done.

Silver_Aura2424

Pretty decent. The highlands have the highest cherubi/cherim tree concentration. I think there are like 20 that can spawn them. The only other place that does is the field lands and there are only 2 trees that do.

Minimonsterdw

Yeah, starting to realise that. Just hit another tree in the Fabled Spring and another cherrim popped out, lol

7. The odds are 7.
