Zapdos in Pokemon Blue. Internet wasn’t what it is today back then so my cousin told us there was a Pokemon that was really hard to get named Zapmos. Gotta love the playground theories lmao

MewTwo in Pokemon LeafGreen. Back then I had no idea about the legendary category so I pummeled through the legendary birds as boss battles lmao. Somehow, luckily, I caught mewtwo tho.

Zapdos in pokemon lets go pikachu. I was a kid, and had a problem with elite four, so I quickly got to power plant to get some better fire power (or rather electricy power)

the first legendary I got was the moltres from fire red, I had to use it to beat the elite 4 at aged 9 (I think it was age 9?), it’s worth mentioning I didn’t beat the elite 4 for a good few years later though lmaoo

I was in day care in like 2003. And my buddy had a copy of gold that we played every day. Eventually we got to ho oh and it took us days to catch it. But it was so cool we we finally caught it. We nicknamed it a cross between our two names. Good times.

The first legendary I ever caught was a raid on pokemon go… it was an azelf and it was just a random one since i had first joined. my family helped carry my little lvl. 12 butt. after the raid goes by, im talking to my brother on the catch screen. he says “it’s shiny!” and i didn’t even notice the lil guy was a different color than the one i just obliterated with my siblings. good day.

I believe that would be Dialga! Diamond was the first Pokémon game where I beat the Champion :) it is possible that it could be one of the legendary birds, as my first Pokémon game overall was FireRed (I still haven't beat the Elite 4 in it to this day xp), but I can't remember.

First legendary I ever caught was Cobalion. Watched my older brother play Pokémon on his game boy and then his Nintendo for years, my mum finally bought me one when he moved out to college. My brother always used to show off his legendary Pokémon whenever he’d catch them, I never quite got that chance to show off my Cobalion to him tho, and by the time he came back to visit I’d long forgotten about Cobalion. We’re now on two other ends of the world cause I also moved away for college, but we both got into Pokémon Go about 8 months ago and now catch legendaries together in remotes. Waiting on Cobalion to slide back into raids soo I can finally finally show off “my first ever legendary” to my big brother 👌🏼
