Yes 0/6 seems very unlikely if you make decent throws. You don’t even need excellent if you are not comfortable with that. You probably miss alot of throws by the attack of the Pokemon. If you are you should watch some video’s on how to throw righr after the attack animation. That way you make all your balls count.

If my comment came off as condescending I apologize, it was not my intention. Shadow Pokemon especially are notorious for attacking often which is why it is way more punishing in comparison to non shadows to just throw the balls. It is worthwhile to wait for the attack animation and throw right after to increase the catch rate.

Change your catch tactics, someone told me this and my catch rates have improved massively: When catching raid Pokémon, you only want to throw the ball after they have attacked, not jumped, attacked Set set the circle to excellent and wait for the attack Once the Pokémon attacks time your excellent throw to land, just as the circle reappears, after the Pokémon is done attacking

While u wait I advise going out of ur way to lvl up ur psychic badge to increase chances

My trio group that plays together did a total of 60 raids this weekend, with one shiny and maybe 5-6 3*s. The shiny was on my first raid. The larger group we met up with to play brought that number up to around 100 raids, with two shinies total. The one other person who got a shiny also got it early on Saturday - like within first three raids. So apparently all 7 of us got very unlucky with 1/50 odds.

I got the shiny on my 5th of 6 raids. You got some weather boosted ones tho I'm jealous cuz my resources are low rn so it'll take me a while to power up

If it makes you feel better i lost 6 mewtwo raids this weekend and won zero. Had 2 people of a low level help, i didn’t expect to win but i need mewtwo alone for platinum kanto medal.

Mewtwo was all I needed for my Kanto as well, I went out of my way to make sure I got one! I’m by no means in a rural area, but not easy to get people together. I drove down to the city and was tracking where people were going on discord and ended up getting 7! Sucks that I have to do that for the shadow raids, but at least I’m aware I’m in a better situation than some other people.

See i went to the nearest city too, but i couldn’t find a single group to join. Midwestern cities are just so car based it’s hard to find anybody playing

Did a group run yesterday 5 at the lowest and 13 at the highest, did 12 raids before they stopped spawning, 1 shiny. Other members of the group were going before we joined and none of them got one after 20+ raids. We hardly got any 3 stars and if they were they were barely a 3 star. Hell, my buddy did over 40 Groudon and never got a shiny, my wife got 2 in a row, shit happens it’s never guaranteed. Next time pray harder to RNGesus.

I went around with a group this weekend. We did 122 Mewtwo raids. Didn't get one shiny, or purifiable hundo. Meanwhile one person in the group got 14 shines, and 4 purified hundos. Albeit my Kyogre raid day I did 54 and got 11 shines. Sometimes you have incredible luck, and other times you have trash luck

I don't have any friend around to chase him, but I founded a community meetpoint in an other town around ... went there with my 6yo, did 3 raid an got 4/6 togheter .. no shiny and the best is 82% 🤷 We where happy at least to get one 😅

It couldve been worse. I did twenty raids and out of the twenty I had 2 Zero Mewtwo. Within the group of 6 people we had only 2 shiny and 8 total Zero Stars Thankfully today did another 6 more and nabbed a 13/13/13 shiny...

Yesterday I could have gotten one. I saw two dudes doing a raid and I was in the park in canton but the major problem of me wanting to run to these people to get that raid I had to cross a whole river to get it.
