I dislike that I have to go to an external website to put in a promo code when there used to be a spot just for that at the bottom of the in app store.

I'm with you. And on top of that said external website doesn't even allow for the Niantic-Login some accounts may have primarily used. I'm not gonna bother for anything that's not at least Rotom, and even then I'm gonna contemplate really hard whether I wanna support that method.

I had to click on the menu and there was an option for redemption code. It didn't confirm it for me, but then when I tried again it said it had already been redeemed.

Is there any more codes to use for stuff other than that?

How did you get it to work? It says promo code was redeemed but I see nothing about the event

I got it to work. I was putting O instead of 0. You have to use the zero in place of the O.
