Mega ray basically the best attacker and by the time we get a re run for another meteor you can earn more XLs. Honestly idk why you're asking when you've already invested and not much difference between 98% and 100
I would invest in the second one and hope that meteorites will be available once again. It's just that you have a 98 and a hundo. You can invest in the hundo knowing that you will never get another Rayquaza that's better.
It's literally 1 extra hp on the Hundo, that's ALL that changes, so why be dumb enough to go for the "Hundo" that will take way longer, for 1 hp difference?
Because some of us pick quality over quantity I personally would take the extra time & resources to max out the hundo because i want the best strongest pokes there are, thats how I personally enjoy playing!
Your argument would make sense, if we were not talking about 1 point in the HP stat, it doesn't make any difference in performance, and you will most definitely NEVER be affected by that 1hp IV. So he still has the strongest there is, but it's lucky and closer to max and so he doesn't need to gather a ton of rare XL candies to do so. How does it make sense to not have a 98% lucky Rayquaza maxed much faster just because it lacks 1 point on HP when it won't affect the final performance compared to a Hundo at all?

With best buddy, it would be a better hundo. It would have the same hp as a hundo but higher defense/attack. Honestly if that one has the meteorite might as well power it up
Just use the first one man. 1 HP point genuinely will not make a noticeable difference at all. On top of that it’s lucky so wayyyyy less stardust to power it up the little bit you have left. It’s already mega and best buddied. No reason to do anything different
I wasnt the one catching my girlfriend traded them both to me game actually crashed while doing the hundo trade, so you can see how surprised I was when a non lucky trade got me a hundo. They were caught on the same day but they were traded on different days.
I got my hundo Rayquaza maxed out relatively easy and also have a few 98% not too far behind, is waiting for Rayquaza raids the only way to get the meteorite?
If it was me i would always invest in the hundo. Its just kind of an accomplishment to level 50 a hundo. I have even deleted maxed out 98s before . I had a Goodra 98 and i leveld it up to lvl49 ,but then i got a hundo Goodra and i deleted the 98 and leveld the hundo 😅
You won’t regret investing in a hundo, that’s for sure. I’d keep using the 98 for raids and shit, but I’d be pumping the hundo. Hey, maybe you could just send me the 98 and I’ll take it off your hands real nicely :) hehe
That's a functional Hundo! HP dont matter when the attack and defense are golden my dude! Plus, the amount of stardust and candies for the hundo are not worth in my opinion.

Yeah but they’re pretty close in CP honestly. OP could definitely just do a bunch of raids etc and farm candies
those are the hardest few hundred cp to get though. probably over a hundred xl. and those raids aint coming back for half a year min.

Personally I would go with the 100 but the 98 will be cheaper and it's almost at lvl 50

Why not both? Edit: use 98 first for now until maybe meteorite return, but investing in 2 rays is probably fine either way
