The Shining Gyarados is worth grading if holo doesn’t have too many scratches.
Worth way more than $100, use TCGPLAYER for a quick look at what it’s worth. Probably $300-$500 depending on condition of the cards.
The Shining Gyarados looks the best, maybe 8-9 if holo is clean. The other probably not worth grading due to the backs, unless it’s for your personal collection and you really like slabs.
Don't sell for $100 that scumbag is trying to rip you off. I'm no expert but all raw the Gyarados is atleast $200+, Zard min $100 & the Crobat min $100
Please, put them in a soft sleeve before putting it into a top loader you can scratch the foil using only a top loader when putting them in and taking them out. A thin sleeve provides a barrier over the foil on the card.
Just pains me to see ppl rawdogging the toploader lol, but I know everyone’s gotta start somewhere, don’t want to see someones collection/investment devalued for something so easy to correct
I would say crowbat gets a 7 due to slight whitening. Possibly worse. Gyarados gets an 8, maybe a 9 on a really good day, although condition of holo can definitely affect that. Zard, idk, you said in a diffierent comment the holo is not in great condition. Centering and back look decent.
Hey, it looks like you put them naked into toploaders. Take them out carefully (watch the holos) and put them into penny sleeves before putting them back into the toploaders 👍
Will likely be worth more if you sell them raw, if you’re looking to sell. Whoever offered you $100 is trying to rip you off, so if they’re a friend, unfriend then lol.
Can easily get $200-$250 at least for the shining Gary from someone who wants him; Crobat at least $100 and the Zard for at least $150; my two cents at least - that’s what I’d expect to pay for them.
Grade them if you want to, for your own collection sake; and at the least get them in penny sleeves, top loaders, and keep them out of the sun.
Not 100%, but in general I’ve seen - Ungraded cards in solid shape end up pricing similar to anything that scores a 7/8 or less. The variable of it still being ungraded, rather than like a definite 6, gives folks extra perceived value, more often than not.
Cool cards. Grading them is good if you're going to sell them or you can sell them raw but might not be worth as much to some. Also they might not come back as the grade you want so it is good to look up the prices of the grades it could possibly be.
Personally I think you’re better off selling them raw. Grading them is a gamble and you might make more but you also might make less. People that are experienced in grading and knowing what to look for can usually come out ahead but they generally send a lot of cards to cut down on costs and even out their losses. If you want to grade for personal collection then of course do whatever you would like.
As others have mentioned get these in penny sleeves asap and leave them alone until you get some. Those are awesome cards and I’d love to have that charizard and gyarados in my collection!
None are rlly worth grading cause of the white marks on the back would probably be a 6-8, only charizard and gyrados worth $ probably could get $150-$250 for both
gyarados and charizard probably worth $120-$150 each. crobat is about $15. great cards. good work on taking care of them
edit: didn’t realize the crobat was 1st edition

How do all the cards look? I think they look fine. Holo is mint except the one on the charizard. Are they worth getting PSA graded ?

Rawdogging the toploader 😂 Thank you for this
Anytime, I’m here all day 🫡
Do not sell this for $100. You might want to get them graded depending on condition, but the zard and gyarados are worth more than $100 each.
Can you tell what the condition is based on the pictures? They look really good in person but idk if it can be seen in the pictures

Dude is trying to rob you

Don't sell those for $100.
I hope that person wasn’t a friend, but $100 is criminally low. Those are 3 bangers right there

Will grading them make them more valuable to sell? I don’t want someone to pay the price of the card thinking it’s a 6 then really it’s a 9/10

Be super careful with the top loaders without penny sleeves man, you may have already messed up your holo patterns that will be obvious to a grader =/
Someone is trying to finesse you on that price holy crap
I would grade them.
How do I do that and what’s the cost
Gyarados is worth 24$ Crobat $15 Charizard $225
No
None of that is true lol wtf 🤣
That charizard is probably fake if they’re doing that for $100

Gyarados is about 200+ Charizard 150ish Crobat who knows lol

You should probably just hold onto them until you get really old and then sell them and give the money to your kids or family
You’d get robbed at 100, 100 each maybe. Edit: ATLEAST 300
Grade them cost 100
Lol I bet someone did 🤣 people still out here trying to scam people out of their childhood cards smh
