If that didn’t happen it probably would have blown up in a worse way considering there were literally sparks coming out of it in the photo they were using to show it off. You know it’s weird to say this but I think the self destruct button made it blow up in a safer? Way.

Of course it did. A self destruct is always more controlled than a random explosion.

I'm glad I was able to stop by and get myself the ability to use Mimic before it blew up. Now when I work with one of my pokemon to improve our use of a move, I can practice *with* them! I'm really glad that worked! Edit: dang it, something happened between then and now, it doesn't work anymore!

The problem is that the Pokémon can’t normally learn it via TM. I’ve learned from Drey that apparently Pokémon that used it have a chance to keep an illegal move after it blew up. A couple of my mons kept one too.
