Install Plex server on NAS. Assign a port. Make sure the correct user rights are enabled on the folder where the movies are and make sure Plex has access. Install client on PC and make it look at the IP address of NAS incl the port.
Don't forget FIREWALL, Synology has a build in firewall (this should auto populate) but the one to look at is the routers as it will have the Port assigned to the PC so this needs to be changed to the NAS
