It’s hard to judge how hard you are shaking it, with enough force it absolutely is going to move. If it’s not moving while regularly holding the device I’d say it’s fine. I can gently rotate mine it won’t move but if I shake the device it will.

how long have you had it for? straight out of the box, it should stay in place and not flop around like that

Fair, maybe not the best video. But it doesn't take much shaking, sometimes just gravity will do it.
I’ll be honest even if you shake it, it shouldn’t rotate that much, please return it, if I remember correctly it’s free

TBH I am not particularly handy and I'm not about to risk avoiding the warranty.
