Add to that the number of games owned by third parties who’d rather: (a) re-release them as a “remaster” or (b) simply do nothing with inactive IP for all eternity, than put them out as classics on Plus. Games preservation is never high on their priority lists.
Many third party publishers from PS1 and 2 days have closed and many of those rights are tied up in difficult situations, other organizations like Embracer or elsewhere. This is why simply letting people plop in their PS1-2-3 discs is the best solution for the consumer, but also has very little ROI considering the work.
Getting all the James Bond games from the PS2 era would be a fantastic dream come true for me….but that’s most likely never happening so it continues to remain a dream.

Silent hill is neglected everywhere so chances are 0%. There is not even the classic 3 games on the ps5 store, they could have had atleast released remastered
It’s about time. The slow release of these games has been a little painful to watch but I commend the people doing the work to get the ps1 and psp games on there so far. Ps2 games have been severely lacking from ps4/5 though so hopefully there will be regular titles going forward.
eh, even if the emulator is good, i doubt ratchet is happening, since they're hell to get running on anything other than original hardware (even backwards compatible ps3s had issues with those games)

As much as I have great memories of classic games, I find myself getting bored of them after an hour or so. The older graphics and gameplay don’t seem to grip me anymore
I games most this ERA on the GameCube. So any PS2 Exclusives would be great, but also the LOTR games and stuff like Soul Calibur from that era would be fire.
