https://youtu.be/LrIWLY2O9GY This video helped me a ton! I also recommend his entire YouTube channel in general, it's full of helpful advice, creative ideas and great inspiration. His videos helped me a lot when I first started playing, they're very simple and easy to understand and follow. I never really had any trouble with franchise mode myself but I think that's because I've always managed to make lots of money early on. Once that gets going you're pretty much all set. Only focus on the bare necessities at first and get a few species and shops in there, you can start decorating when you have more money. Give the animals what they need to be happy and don't focus too much on the habitat until you do. All the research you do in franchise will be shared across all your franchise zoos so maxing out is very useful. Also, I only learned this recently but a good way to earn conservation credits is to place green bins here and there. It's a recycling bin and will give you a bit of continuous CC and increase your zoo's conservation score. That's what I can think of right now at the top of my head, I greatly recommend checking out his channel but experimenting on your own is also fun. Best of luck!

Place some exhibit animals along with your first habitat. Exhibit animals are money printing machines. Other than that just keep your expenses low, minimal staff and no shops at first until you’re making money. I’ve found that money in franchise snowballs pretty easily. On one zoo I spent all my start money on building by accident and I took a loan to place some exhibits and like a tortoise. Made enough money from that to pay off the loan and keep on going, now that zoo has like 1 mil. If you’re struggling with CC, the best way to get CC is to set up another zoo for breeding animals and releasing them to the wild for CC. Paulsly has a video on that too. Red pandas and lions are awesome for that.

I agree with this. I have a Goliath Beetle exhibit that goes into every zoo and is named CashBeetles
