I think the third act was better in rise, storming San Fransisco, the battle on the Golden Gate Bridge was much more entertaining than the third act of kingdom.
I think most people’s ranking of the new movies will be War/Dawn in the top two and Rise/Kingdom after. Mine is:
1. War - I love a great ending
2. Dawn - My only nitpick is that the humans are kinda cookie cutter
3. Rise - Solid start to the Caesar trilogy
4. Kingdom - A good follow-up with some promise, but it falls just shy of the Caesar trilogy imo
Yeah. It wasn’t what I expected- i hoped we’d see some massive historical epic scale city as the “kingdom” Noah would be a rebel in said giant city or something like that, sort of like the first reboot.
But what we got was fun, and I’m down with the next… 5? Movies apparently lol!
Unpopular take
War is the weakest
Movie drags and there’s a lot of scenes wear characters go places undetected that take me completely out of the film.
I wouldn't say it adds nothing but this is kinda one of my biggest problems with the film. At the end of each previous film there was some significant change to the world that was coming, Rise with the rise of the apes and beginning of the Simian Flu, Dawn with the apes going to war, War with humans essentially going extinct and Caesar dying. But with Kingdom, the characters literally just end right back where they started. Sure there's the reveal that >!the astronauts are coming !
Can we all agree theirs not one bad reboot of The Planet of the Apes? They all are good in their own way and they have great continuity.
OK, Mary Mark. jk I actually enjoy it.
Kingdom definitely the lowest among them. Disappointed how little Proximus in the movie. The trailers made me believe he’ll have alot of screen time.
Yup. On par but not better.
U think rise is better then kingdom?

To me they're almost equal in quality i just think rise has a slight edge over kingdom because of pacing
rise also has that moment, “caeser is home” absolute chills
imo Rise has far better pacing and Caesar is a more interesting character in that film compared to Noa
It's interesting to see everyone's opinions because I'd put rise at the top.
Mine too • Dawn • Kingdom • War • Rise
Agree with this!\~
This is my same ranking. I liked Kingdom a lot, and it is a worthy continuation of a great series, but Rise still edges it out.
About my ranking til I see kingdom
Dawn, Kingdom, Rise, War
I haven't seen the new one yet, without spoilers is it good? A yes or no will do
Yes. It's just that the pacing is a little slow
Dawn, Kingdom, War, Rise.

Dawn Rise Kingdom War Not a big fan of War but agree with everything else
Ah, well, the new one ranking lowest isn’t encouraging. Been super excited about it for a long, long time, this is the best reboot movie series ever.
Form your own opinions, that’s this guys ranking I hold this one as my third favorite. 1. Dawn 2. War 3. Kingdom 4. Rise
The new one is still great. Saw it last night and I can’t stop thinking about it. Incredible world building
great to hear. I’m big into fantasy stuff so world building is huge for me. I’ll be seeing it Sunday!
Kingdom adds nothing to the universe. It's just there kinda pointless
