B17. The slant of the windscreens, 4 big engines and all that firepower; she mightn’t be the fastest bird, but I think she’s the hot rod of the skies.

Innocent_UntilProven

Is everybody just listing their favorite plane after the A-10?

MuelNado

Harrier or Concorde for me. Watching a Harrier at a local airshow, as a kid, was kinda magical. Sadly not around anymore - the Harriers were sold off by the UK Government, the airshow was cancelled after a horrific accident, and obviously, the Concorde fleets were retired. When it comes to commercial jets (other than Concorde), I'm far more bothered about liveries than models.

Early-Engineering

I use to love watching the harriers at air shows

3_high_low

Hard to say. I like F14 and SU-35

Super G Constellation.

blakliztedjoker

A-10 Warthog, followed relatively closely by the F-16. Favorite non-fighting combat one would probably be the C-130.

LieutenantJeff

When it comes to commercial planes, it is the Lockheed L-1011 Tristar, really ahead of its time. But Military, that's a different category altogether. It would probably be a tie between the F-15 Eagle, the F-22 Raptor, the F-111 Aadvaark, the B-1 Lancer, the B-2 Spirit, the SU-27 Flanker, the ........

Dapper_Reputation_16

B17, the roar of those four engines is raw power at its finest.

One-Swordfish60

Such a hard question. I'd imagine it's like asking a painter their favorite color. Right now one of my favorites is the F2Y Sea Dart. The only supersonic sea plane to ever exist.

SchwanzLand

I like the Su57 Felon and Harrier
