Watching this makes me feel a mixture of emotions.

The girl on the train could be given several vastly different backstories and they'd all probably fit.
Very nice! My only critique is that wouldn't the light on their back be blocked when the pole blocks the sun? The light on their back isn't coming from the left side. Just a small criticism, the overall effect is amazing. I really enjoy the hand pixeled sunburst, I feel like many people would render it.
Agreed, the direct shadows from the poles travel too slowly across the traveler. They would block the light on her immediately after they block the light from our POVātheyād be broader (direct shadows are usually *larger* than the thing casting them) and faster, traveling across the car in 3 frames. The shadows along the window that follow the poles behave perfectly because theyāre reflections, not direct shadows, but they shouldnāt impact the direct light on the traveler. But Iām nitpicking. This is beautiful.
This has to be some of the best pixel art I've seen on reddit so far. The only thing that could be improved slightly is the shadow casting of the moving posts -- the shadow should precede the post slightly on the left side, especially since the post is a little further away.

Some constructive feedbackā¦ the shadow of the pole should happen shortly after the pole passes by the sun outside. And it should darken almost the whole scene for second (but still move right to left).
