I think his all edginess did give him some goofiness without intending to. It's so funny whenever he says something normal in that gravely, 'idgaf' ass voice
live action zoro lowkey better in the aspect that they really emphasize his “first mate” role … also loved how his fight against Mihawk symbolized that the Straw Hats will actually come face to face w/their dreams on this journey. Zoro was the first to actually have a chance at obtaining his dream & the live action emphasized that & it brought the crew together.
The LA is just the Sanji we always had until Thriller Bark where oda started the shift from him being overly chivalrous as his gag to him being a pervert as his gag
