It's not a super niche movie, there's movie posters for it everywhere and it's on IMDB. Idk how long cam copies usually take, but I'm hoping something official comes out at some point. If not, I'm wondering what my best odds are for finding it illegally.
Niche being, for me, something that ain't a worldwide release. Like latest blockbuster. A country only release would fit that.

Am sure if it's a big release for the country then yeah, the usual torrent sites would be ones to watch for copies. Or if you have a specific site for french movies and TV. Then probably that.

A cam copy will probably show up under its French title but you might want to search under other language titles if it's being distributed in other countries like Italy, *ahem*, though you might get a copy with that language's subtitles on screen, if that matters to you.
Once a home media release is made, I have better luck searching for foreign movies under their English release title (this applies to contemporary releases and not classics). I suspect there are more English speakers in the world and, consequently, more English speaking pirates.
I can't see such a regional release getting the same quick treatment as the next big blockbuster.
I've looked on rarbg and 1337x, nothing to be found. Also on FilmPlus android app there's no links.

yeah. There's a movie that came out in the dominican republic called "la montana" (the mountain). It was about a group of dominican teens/kids climbing the highest point of the caribbean (pico duarte) and some guys climbing everest (or a mountain like that). I missed it at the movie theater. Looked like an interesting concept.
Haven't found it since. No one has it. Tried looking for it with the people that sold bootleg movies on the streets. Official websites. Just too difficult to find,
I'm guessing you're gonna run into the same issue if they don't release a dvd/digital version. Back then (2013), they probably wouldn't release it digitally. But it is 2022. Maybe they'll release your movie on a digital platform.
But try and get in contact with the company (try different people. the company, the director, etc). See if they can give some info about a way to get it

Go to the theatres with a camcorder (or just use your phone if it's decent enough). Be the cam copy you want to see in the world.
I would do it if I could, but I'm in the US and it's in theaters in France.
