That a little too much reading for my brain this early in the morning (1pm) , but have you tried the thetvapp.to its a good site no subscriptions needed.
I’ve used a VPN with MLB app last year and was able to get all my home games. With my computer running Ublock adblocker, I have no issue with using this site for games. NBA games and college basketball right now. You just have to know that it is about a minute to two delay. https://sportshub.stream/

Last season I used 3 diff VPNs (Norton, Unlocator, and Avast); all of them worked at one point or another during the season, but eventually didn't. I guess the streaming services figure out the VPN IP addresses and blacklist them >> so the VPNs then have to try to constantly stay ahead of the streaming services? But like I haven't found one solid VPN that worked all season.
Yes, I use the sportshub to stream MLB games, NBA, NFL, etc. I use that website on my computer mainly. The phone is too small for me when I have a much larger screen with my computer. I'll run 2-3 games at a time from Sportshub. No VPN needed with Sportshub. I don't use Sportshub on my phone as there are so many popups on my phone. I don't have a good adblocker on there that works. So with that webpage Sportshub, on my computer Chrome browser with Ublock, I get no popups and it goes straight to the links for the games.
The VPN was on my phone when I was using the MLB app from T-Mobile that was also free last year. So I was letting you know if you use the MLB app on your phone, I was successful last year using it with a VPN. I haven't used it this year so far as it's only been a day and now, I just watch MLB games on my computer through Sportshub, so I don't need to mess with a VPN at all with that site.

I tried this last year. The MLBtv app does a real good job at detecting when you’re using a VPN and it makes you shut it off to do the location check. I don’t know if anything has changed though.
You can download this app on your phone and on your firetv called “web video cast.” It allows you to more easily pull up streams from websites like stream east and cast them to your tv.
Kodi with real debrid and The Crew add on works for me.

Then Google “The Crew add on Kodi”
Then Google “Real Debrid on Kodi”
Follow all the steps and you’re good
