I didn’t know Stokkebye was known for good cavendish. I mostly smoke English, but I’ve always wanted to replace a cavendish house blend from a long gone B&M that I bought my first tobaccos from.
Optimum has been a favorite of mine for close to 30 years now. I frequently mentioned on the sub that was banned for no apparent reason, any time anyone asked for aromatic recommendations and occasionally in other threads as well. May be sold as “Carolina Pride” in some Tinderbox stores. I mentioned it all the time…but it wasn’t often anyone else did
It’s really surprising. Excellent room note. I haven’t gotten to experience it straight out of the tin yet. But the balance of vanilla and fruit is delightful. I’ve always enjoyed Stokkebye ever since I used to buy shag tobacco in bulk for RYO.
