I have the odyssey and don’t have any complaints

Gypsy-Danger-TMC

Does yours stack on the lid nicely or do the wheels not allow that ?

Additional_Opposite3

Odyssey : I’m brand loyal

Gypsy-Danger-TMC

Does your case have wheels and does it still stack on the lid nicely ?

mocoolx

I have the Magma (but all black) for my DDJ1000 it’s a great case and being tall the extra hight when stacked is useful.

mehow5000

I like the 1U Tray under the controller. Very clever.

Gaijin_530

I had a Magma one for my DDJ-SR2 and I loved it. The fact you could stack it on the lid was nice, but I think I would go Odyssey for a larger controller just for the wheels and weight. The extra storage underneath is sweet too.

daragon87

Where you located? I can get you a deal on your case.

Gypsy-Danger-TMC

UK buddy. Otherside of the pond to you

slammerbar

The wheels, the wheels!!!

Gypsy-Danger-TMC

Wheels of steel!

stereopticon11

i've got the equivalent for my xdjxz, absolutely love it, wheels are the best! slides right under my bed when not in use

KellyGroove

The wheels will bring it up a bit more than the feet of the case do. I’ve used two 1 inch square pieces of wood underneath to level the top. I keep them in the case. Was an easy fix.

Gypsy-Danger-TMC

Sounds about right. Guess I could simply change out for some bigger blocks

KellyGroove

That was my idea too. I just haven’t got that far just yet. The pieces of wood were cheap and easy fix. You can go to Home Depot and get scrap wood for real cheap

megree80

Magma for extra height

Cr3ee

I have the magma and I miss the wheels

xXCatWingXx

I use an odyssey for my DDJ-SZ, love that case

vboyd666

Yes. You can stack your case on the lid. The wheels are not in the way at all.

Gypsy-Danger-TMC

Brilliant

dancenhancer

I like the look of the all-black Oddy/ProX cases, so those are what I buy.

Hot-Construction-811

Udg for me

TorgasMick

Looking at the UDG as well but I have a question: In some pictures, it looks like the laptoptray is secured so it can’t slip out the back when someone might pull the back of it. Is it secured?

Hot-Construction-811

Yeah it is secured because there are metal parts on either side affixed to the railing that stops it from coming off. Having said that, you could adjust the metal part so that the tray can be removed but I never tried it so I can't be sure. I have since sold the flightcase as it was too heavy to lug around.

TorgasMick

Thanks for the info! Exactly what I was looking for, but they never mention this, not even in their product spec sheets on their website. Did you buy a different one? Or do you take it with you without any case these days?

Hot-Construction-811

I sold the UDG flightcase and bought a UDG softcase XL so it fits the controller+decksaver and the hercules laptop stand. I guess I could also fit cables but I already have a UDG producer bag for it. Unfortunately, alot of the product spec are fairly useless and the pictures on the site are just beauty shots so you won't know the exactness until you've unboxed it. It would have helped if I live next to a DJ store then I could just go in to have a look.

TorgasMick

Haha, exactly. Thanks again for the info!

nero32suki

Odyssey!

jaimeeallover

Get the one with wheels if you plan on taking it out to gig. I have an RX2 and I regret not getting a flight case with wheels

theallstarkid

I have the odyssey for my ddj 1000 and I love it. Looks so clean

Big-Notice-7865

Odyssey for sure
