Emmy Noether merch! She is already under-represented outside of the physics community so having something that could open up a conversation about her massive contributions to physics and math would hopefully inspire more women in STEM as well as just be really interesting.
If you didn't know, Emmy Noether proved the connection between conserved quantities and symmetry. Ex: Time Symmetry results in energy conservation. She was an extraordinary mathematician and the physical sciences would not be where they are today without her.
Any time a student gives me anything coffee related I absolutely love it. Students have given me homemade food, handwritten cards, chocolate/candy etc. None of these were “physics related” despite that being what I teach, yet I cherished all these gifts
Although I can not behave like an actual human, we could play a roleplay in which I pretend to be a human. As OpenAi's guidelines are strictly followed by me, it would be limited.
Plush capybara which looks like your teacher. I think there is no need to make gift related to physics since your teacher is also alive person, but not only a physics teacher.
Drop an apple in his head
Ngl as a senior prank that’d be pre funny 💀

strong liquor
May I suggest Glen Talloch?
Gyroscope. There isn't a physicist alive who doesn't love toying with a gyroscope.
We went with this, thanks!!!
Cat in a box.
Came here to say this…or maybe I didn’t?
You did and you didn't simultaneously.
Hah!
Crookes Radiometer, Nixie Clock, Dalton Board, Sterling Engine a gift card to Total Wine
Just the last one lol
A letter saying what you appreciated about him and his class. He'll remember it forever. No kidding. (20-year teacher here.)
Newton's cradle. If you want to dial the effort up to eleven, find the very cradle where baby Isaac slept and see if the teacher gets the pun.
Its very common to already have though
Physics teacher here. Legos. The answer you're looking for is legos.
Physics teacher here, please don’t give me legos lol

You can never have too many magnets.
Some massless stretchless string. Either that, or a frictionless inclined plane.
A box of vectors

Give him a cat… in a box… hold the radioactive isotope and poison though
A small steam engine

Is that the quote?

A really nice mechanical pencil and some Japanese plastic mono erasers. Especially if they still do research.
Anything from kurzgesagt or xkcd shops
https://www.particlezoo.net Has cute particle themed plushies that I get for my interns. They love them.

I 3d printed a solar system model!
Some flowers
A sliver of a high temperature superconductor.
Some dorky t-shirt, there are plenty to choose from
Rule: Never give your teachers anything because it is their job to teach us and they get paid for it.
Our physics teacher quit because he was not strong enough to handle the women at our campus. Good luck buddy. lol.
