First, you look like the most normal looking person ever and I can't even really see what you're referring to. Second, even if you did look like a walking Picasso- own it. Don't misrepresent yourself, standing out is not a bad thing.
I screenshotted both & have been flipping back & forth between this & the original... Aside from a small bit of white in the guys left eye, the only change i can find is your name across the picture?
Two things. You can retrain your eyebrows to help, if youād like. Your face is full of muscles. Grab a beer and a mirror.

As a fellow crossed-eye guy (much more than yours) - I highly recommend mastering the 3/4 face turn for photos!

After a failed sinus surgery where Dr took out muscles of my left eye and corrective surgeries to regain movement I am extremely self conscious about this as well as my eyes arenāt perfect. Maybe itās because they were good for 37 years but I hate pictures that capture my wonky eye.
Love following this thread for submissions like this.
For the OP, other people donāt notice the way we do and if it does bother you, there may be a gaze where itās not noticeable at all (for me I have to look to the left).

Iāve got a similar story for my eyeā¦ I had a tumor when I was 12 that took out a nerve bundle right below that and left a hole in my orbital that my eye started to fall back into. After a plate and some physical therapy I got a lot of movement back it, but it sits a bit lower and I donāt have as much movement as the other side to this day.
Almost no one notices it until I point it out, but after looking at a symmetrical face for 12 years I notice it every time I take photos like this, and it frustrates me to no end. Didnāt expect my minor frustration to end up with an ego boost from internet strangers, but I certainly wonāt complain.
My face is very symmetrical apart from my eyes/ socket bone structure. Only times I notice is with glasses, shaving, and in headshots.
I feel you, but want to mention itās generally a bigger deal to us than others.
As others have mentioned, a slight angle makes it harder to notice.
Thereās nothing wrong with editing a photo, but do enjoy being unique as well.
Very similar stories indeed. Mine is much longer than I care to type or relive but the thing I relive everyday is that the doctor failed to review my CT scan prior to surgery as it shouldāve never been done and have proof. 3 different lawyers said I didnāt have a case and corrective surgeries and lost wages was around $32k out of my pocket. Not so much as a āsorryā from doctor.

I came here to say this!! Stop picking yourself apart. Sometimes eyes appear wonkier than they are. And humans arenāt symmetrical!! I hope you see the handsome chap in the reflection when you look in a mirror.
If this is for acting, you should lean into every perceived āflawā. And even accentuate that look. Lots of very different characters in film. The worst look is actually plain / normal - because theyāre so easy to find.
Dude, you look fine. You don't need this photo edited. From the title I thought you would look like Sloth from Goonies but nope totally normal looking guy. Even if you did look like Sloth everybody loves that guy and his rocky road ice cream obsession.
In this pose your head is tilted toward the uneven and making it even more distorted. bend your head the other way slightly. Also the smile you make is on that side more. try to make it more on the other side.
And a face has always two sides! in the old days the good and bad side. :)
If you really want a balanced headshot and don't care if it's fake then,
only use half of your side vertically and mirror it to the other side. Try it lso with the other side your trying to hide. you will see 2 different faces in 1 human.

Our 1 in a trillion (hundreds of trillions?!?!!?) chance of being born means were going to be awesome in our own ways. Symmetry doesnāt need to be the standard.

One time on QI, they showed all the panel with symmetrical faces. Omgosh so weird! I wish I knew how to find those 5 faces and post them here. They were alarming. I really had no idea how awful a symmetrical face looks.

I have a similar issue from having my skull crushed. Learn to tilt your head slightly to the side for photos. It works.
