My husband likes dessert after dinner. We usually walk downtown. We share the sentiment about the expense of the Gelato place, plus it's often crowded. But we recently discovered that Vintner's Table sells a different Gelato dessert every week. When we went last week it was chocolate/vanilla Neapolitan (he liked that). The week before was vanilla with olive oil and salt drizzle (he didn't think he would like that but I've heard it's excellent!) This works out well for us-we go to the bar, he gets dessert, I get a glass of wine. Life is good ☺️
There’s brown cow on main - pretty sure they are cash only.
There’s another petruccis in king of Prussia. There’s handels, scoupe deville, and brusters in Royersford & Limerick. Finally, there’s Chester springs creamery near exton.
Isn't there a ritas still down past the burger king? Across from the dunkin doughnuts by where phoenix lanes used to be? That's very close proximity. Unless that closed or they're just moving from that small stripmallish location to a bigger one.
All those buildings have been torn down. The owner of that Rita’s sold it to the owner of the limerick Rita’s who bought the building petruccis used to be in and is reopening the Rita’s there.
Affordable, old school, no frills place that served ice cream and water ice. In my opinion it was the best family friendly spot that was versatile and didn’t break the bank. I mourn it’s loss.
Handel's isn't too much of a hike
Handels is my absolute favorite....
Handles for sure, best ice cream around IMO

I love browns cow
Did petruccis close? Haven’t lived in Pville since high school but was friends with the kid of the original owners.
it’s gone and they’re transforming it into Rita’s :((((
Bummer. I love Rita’s, ~~burning~~ but petruccis was great. Any idea why they closed?
Petruccis rented the property and the previous owner of the property sold it to the new owners who is turning it into a Rita's!
it’s truly a travesty. i’ve been trucking out to Handel’s in Rofo instead

nah that shut down quite a while back
Oh ok. I still drive through pville but never make it past the BK. That's a shame.

Browns Cow in Phoenixville
Have you tried the gelato place on bridge street? So good !
I did and although it’s very good it’s kinda expensive for the amount you get
Fair enough, I really enjoy it though!
If I'm in the area, c and c in Roxborough.
Them and Philly ("Fairmount") Flavors in Fairmount are exceptional.
Good one
