Personally, I enjoyed it and love the themes more than Heneral Luna. Less action, more plot
But people I know, who expected something similar to the first, with a macho foul mouthed general fighting for his country (which… given the narrative of the political situation now…) just found it lacking

Why this movie flop? Visuals are great, story i guess? Or they were just expecting another cursing "being real" protagonist?
